Position Summary

The Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the overall strategy, governance, optimization, and continuous improvement of Avtron Power Solutions' enterprise business applications supporting manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, quality, operations, finance, and customer service.

This leader will partner closely with executive leadership and business stakeholders to develop and execute a multi-year digital transformation roadmap focused on modernizing manufacturing operations, improving business processes, increasing operational efficiency, and enabling data-driven decision making.

The ideal candidate possesses strong manufacturing systems expertise, ERP leadership experience, and a passion for business transformation. They will serve as the primary technology leader responsible for enterprise applications including SAP Business One, BEAS Manufacturing, Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Quality Management Systems (QMS), Engineering applications, and future enterprise platforms introduced throughout the organization.

This position plays a critical leadership role within the Global IT organization and reports directly to the Sr. Director of Information Technology.

Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Application Strategy
  • Develop and execute the global Enterprise Applications strategy aligned with Avtron's business objectives.
  • Create and maintain a multi-year roadmap for manufacturing digitalization.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies that improve manufacturing efficiency, quality, automation, and operational visibility.
  • Lead enterprise application modernization initiatives across global operations.
  • Ensure enterprise applications support future company growth and acquisitions.


Manufacturing Digitalization

Lead the organization's digital manufacturing initiatives including:
  • Smart Manufacturing
  • Digital Work Instructions
  • Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • ERP Optimization
  • Production Scheduling
  • Warehouse Automation
  • Barcode/RFID Solutions
  • Shop Floor Data Collection
  • Industrial IoT integrations

Partner with Operations leadership to identify opportunities for process automation and continuous improvement.

Enterprise Application Ownership

Provide executive oversight for:

ERP Leadership
  • Own the SAP Business One application strategy.

  • Lead future ERP enhancements and implementation projects.
  • Govern ERP master data standards alongside business stakeholders.

  • Promote collaboration across Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, Data Analytics, and Digital Systems teams.

Qualifications

Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related discipline.
  • 10+ years of Enterprise Applications leadership experience.
  • 5+ years leading technical teams.
  • Strong manufacturing industry experience.
  • Experience supporting multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Experience leading enterprise software implementations.
  • Demonstrated success driving business transformation initiatives.

  • Master's Degree (MBA or Technology discipline)
