The
Senior Director, Autonomous Platform Engineering will define and execute the enterprise Platform Engineering strategy supporting both Consumer Products and Corporate Technology. Reporting to the Vice President, Digital Product Engineering & Enterprise Infrastructure, this leader will drive the evolution from traditional DevSecOps to an AI-enabled, autonomous engineering ecosystem that accelerates software delivery, improves developer productivity, strengthens operational excellence, and enables the responsible adoption of Artificial Intelligence throughout the software development lifecycle.
This role is accountable for the
strategy, architecture, engineering, operational support, and continuous evolution of enterprise engineering platforms. The successful candidate will ensure these platforms are not only designed and built to the highest standards but are also operated, supported, and continuously improved to provide secure, scalable, resilient, and reliable services for engineering teams worldwide. This leader will oversee global teams responsible for Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Application Security, and platform operations while managing strategic technology investments, vendor partnerships, and the enterprise platform roadmap.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Senior Director, Autonomous Platform Engineering- Define and execute the enterprise Platform Engineering strategy supporting Consumer Products and Corporate Technology.
- Lead the evolution of engineering platforms that improve developer experience, platform consistency, scalability, and operational efficiency.
- Establish enterprise standards for platform architecture, engineering automation, and software delivery.
- Drive adoption of Internal Developer Platforms (IDPs), Infrastructure as Code, cloud platform engineering, Kubernetes, container platforms, release engineering, environment management, artifact repositories, secrets management, observability platforms, and platform networking.
- Build reusable engineering capabilities that enable product teams to deliver software securely and efficiently.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS: Senior Director, Autonomous Platform Engineering- Bachelor's degree (Master's preferred) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline, or equivalent academic or professional experience.
- Progressive leadership experience managing enterprise Platform Engineering and DevSecOps organizations.
- Experience leading globally distributed engineering teams.
- Demonstrated success building modern cloud-native engineering platforms.
- Deep understanding of Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering, Application Security, cloud infrastructure, developer platforms, and engineering automation.
- Experience implementing AI-enabled software development capabilities and autonomous engineering practices.
- Experience managing enterprise technology budgets and strategic vendor relationships.
- Strong executive communication and organizational transformation skills.
CompensationAnnual Pay Range: $208,547 - $244,000
Annual Incentive Target: 20.00%
The annual/hourly pay range displayed serves as a good faith estimate of the
minimum and maximum base pay range for this role. Compensation for the role will
be based on a number of different factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills,
