DescriptionDirector of Engineering
We're looking for a hands-on, forward-thinking Director of Engineering to help drive our software engineering strategy, lead technical execution, and leverage AI and automation to deliver scalable, secure, next-generation solutions. This role is deeply focused on engineering leadership and technical impact.
What You'll Do
- Execute and evolve a forward-thinking engineering strategy aligned with company goals
- Drive adoption of modern technologies: AI-driven DevOps, Generative AI/LLMs, DevSecOps, cloud-native/serverless architectures, microservices, CI/CD, and low-code/no-code platforms
- Architect and guide the development of scalable, secure, and sustainable systems
- Implement frameworks and best practices that accelerate delivery and improve quality
- Manage and reduce technical debt while maintaining long-term system health
- Establish and monitor key metrics for velocity, reliability, and quality
- Lead secure, compliant, and innovative engineering practices
- Lead and develop engineering teams, fostering accountability, growth, and high performance
What You Bring
- 10+ years of experience in software engineering
- 7+ years of people leadership experience, including leading multiple teams or managing managers
- Strong technical background with hands-on experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, CI/CD, and containerization tools
- Proven success driving Agile and DevOps transformations
- Experience implementing AI/ML and automation initiatives
- Ability to translate technical strategy into execution and measurable outcomes
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (advanced degree preferred)
