We are seeking Director of Employee Experience to design and deliver differentiated employee experiences that position RBC AI Group as an employer of choice for world-class AI talent.
In this role, you will define the employee experience strategy across key moments that matter-from pre-boarding and onboarding through leadership development and career growth. You will leverage employee insights to continuously improve experiences while partnering closely with HR, AI Group leaders, Communications, Learning, Technology & Operations (T&O), and COO teams to deliver scalable, high-impact programs.
This role combines strategy, experience design, and operational excellence to create experiences that enable employees to become productive faster, strengthen engagement, and build a connected AI community.
What You Will DoDesign Differentiated Employee Experiences.
- Design, launch and continuously improve experiences across the employee lifecycle.
- Identify opportunities to differentiate AI Group experiences while leveraging enterprise/T&O programs where appropriate.
- Apply journey mapping and human-centred design principles to improve employee experiences.
Lead AI Group Onboarding- Own the end-to-end onboarding experience for experienced hires and early talent.
- Design and deliver a curated 1-2 week onboarding experience.
- Build scalable onboarding products that accelerate productivity and foster belonging.
- Develop manager enablement resources and onboarding playbooks.
- Oversee pre-boarding experiences, ensuring employees have technology, access and information required before Day One.
Develop and Delivery Leadership and Career experiences- Design leadership experiences for key employee populations, including programs supporting GG05/GG06 leaders.
- Partner with business leaders to identify capability gaps and create targeted development solutions.
- Create experiences that strengthen collaboration, communication and leadership effectiveness.
Manage Shared Talent Programs w/ T&OPartner with Technology & Operations to adapt and deliver enterprise programs for AI Group employees, including:
- Technical Career Journey
- Technical Distinction Program
- Welcome to People Management
- Leadership Enablement Series
- Leadership Expo
Use Data to Continuously Improve - Analyze employee engagement survey results, onboarding feedback and experience metrics.
- Identify trends and recommend strategic improvements.
- Establish KPIs and dashboards to measure program effectiveness and business impact.
- Use experimentation and continuous improvement methodologies to evolve programs over time.
Build Strong Partnerships- Partner with AI Group executives, HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, Communications, Learning, COO offices and T&O.
- Influence senior stakeholders to align on employee experience priorities.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with multiple stakeholders.
