Job Summary

Under the direction of the Assistant Superintendent, Educational Support Services, the Director, District & School Support (Prevention and Wellness) plans, organizes, implements, evaluates and improves comprehensive systems and programs for student engagement, school climate, student behavioral health and wellness. The Director integrates inclusive practices, prevention programming and evidence based interventions to support all students through frameworks including Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Social Emotional Learning (SEL), Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), and Restorative Justice. Director serves as a core member of the SLOCOE's District and School Support team providing Universal and Targeted support.

Requirements / Qualifications

  • Certification (Verification of Master's degree: Copy of degree and unofficial transcripts.)
  • Credential Copy (Proof of credentials - print-out from CTC is sufficient)
  • Letter of Introduction
  • Letter(s) of Recommendation (Minimum 3 current letters of recommendation)
  • Resume

Start date is negotiable.

Open to candidates currently under contract or completing an existing assignment. We are prepared to offer a flexible transition period to accommodate current professional obligations.

Work location: SLOCOE office - 3350 Education Drive, San Luis Obispo, CA.
