About the Role:The Director, Dispensing Pharmacy is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing all aspects of pharmacy dispensing operations within a healthcare organization. Minimum Qualifications:- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution.
- Current and unrestricted pharmacist license in the United States.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in pharmacy practice, including at least 3 years in a leadership or management role within a dispensing pharmacy setting.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards governing medication dispensing and safety.
- Demonstrated experience managing pharmacy operations, staff, and budgets.
Preferred Qualifications:- Board certification in a relevant pharmacy specialty (e.g., Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist).
- Experience working within a large healthcare system or hospital environment.
- Proficiency with pharmacy information systems and electronic health records (EHR).
