What You'll Do:- Be a trusted advisor - Represent Ladder and guide customers through their life insurance journey with warmth, clarity, and integrity
- Connect with warm leads - Engage qualified inbound prospects primarily through outbound phone calls, and also via text and email
- Personalize coverage - Educate customers on their options and provide tailored coverage recommendations based on their personal needs
- Drive conversions - Help customers make confident decisions and guide them from interest to purchase
- Think like a customer- provide exceptional service that inspires customers to share their positive experiences with others about Ladder!
Requirements:- 7+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer-facing roles within the life insurance industry.
- You hold a valid life insurance license in your home state, and are willing and able to become life insurance licensed in all 50 states and Washington, D.C. if you are not already.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex ideas in a clear and approachable manner.
- A startup mentality - flexible, curious, and energized by new challenges.
- Strong time management skills with a demonstrated ability to be organized and efficient.
- Proven ability to be self-driven and proactive, taking initiative and staying motivated without dependencies.
- Active listening skills with the ability to understand customer needs before offering solutions.
- Available to work normal business hours in one of the four mainland U.S. time zones.

Base pay is determined by the location where the work will be performed and is aligned to one of 3 compensation tiers, as indicated below. Base pay may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and business needs. In addition to the base pay range listed below, this role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits as shared above.
Tier 1 (SF Bay Area, New York City, Seattle)$165,000 - $200,000
Tier 2 (LA, Austin, Boston, Chicago, DC, Denver, Philadelphia, San Diego) $147,000 - $175,000
Tier 3 (All other locations that Ladder hires) $138,000 - $165,000
