Job Description and Responsibilities
The Director of Digital Sales will lead a team of Digital Sales Representatives responsible for driving client engagement, pipeline growth, and revenue across a broad segment of North America clients. This leader will establish the structure, operating rhythm, and sales discipline needed to deliver consistent, measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Digital Sales Representatives by providing clear direction, coaching, training, and actionable feedback that improves individual and team performance.
- Drive disciplined sales execution through rigorous territory planning, pipeline management, forecasting, deal strategy, sales plays, and regular performance reviews.
- Use data and insights to guide strategy and performance, analyzing pipeline health, sales activity, client coverage, market trends, and growth opportunities to optimize team effectiveness.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with regional sales, product, marketing, analytics, and other stakeholders to align priorities, coordinate go-to-market efforts, and strengthen the feedback loop across the business.
- Establish structure, accountability, and operating rhythm for the team, including clear success metrics, stakeholder updates, business reviews, and consistent adoption of CRM, reporting tools, and sales technology.
- Champion change and continuous improvement by helping the team adopt new tools, processes, and strategies while identifying opportunities to improve sales motions, operating models, and business outcomes.

- Translate regional and market knowledge into actionable sales strategies aligned to client needs, growth opportunities, and broader business priorities.
- Communicate with clarity and influence across a matrixed organization, engaging direct reports, peers, senior leaders, and cross-functional partners.
- Operate with sound judgment and independence, setting objectives, solving complex challenges, and guiding work to successful completion with limited supervision.
- Bring a solution-oriented mindset, offering practical recommendations to improve processes, tools, sales strategy, and regional and global ways of working.
QualificationsBasic Qualifications
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications
- 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
- Prior experience in a full-cycle sales role or related client-facing commercial role, with a focus on direct client sales, pipeline development, and revenue growth.
- Demonstrated experience leading teams through change, including adoption of new tools, processes, sales motions, or operating rhythms.
- Demonstrated AI fluency and curiosity, with the ability to identify practical use cases that may improve seller productivity, client insights, pipeline management, or sales execution.
- Ability to partner with cross-functional teams and relevant COEs to evaluate emerging technologies responsibly, balancing innovation with governance, usability, and measurable business impact.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and coaching skills, with the ability to engage teams and leaders across multiple seniority levels.
- Ability to motivate, energize, and develop team members while creating accountability for measurable business outcomes.
- Knowledge of the payments industry preferred.
U.S. Applicants OnlyThe estimated salary range for this position is $193,000.00 to $ 308,500.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.
