Position Summary:

Bonduelle Americas is seeking a Director, Digital Activation & eCommerce to lead the company's digital growth, eCommerce, and public relations functions as part of the Marketing leadership team. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role owns the strategy and P&L discipline behind Bonduelle's digital shelf, retail media, marketplace, and DTC presence, while also directing the U.S. public relations agenda. The Director will manage a team of three direct reports - Digital Activation, eCommerce, and Public Relations - and will be a key leader in translating the Lunch Bowls national launch and Bonduelle's broader branded growth strategy into measurable digital and earned-media performance.

Key Responsibilities:
    Strategic Leadership & Team Management
    • Set the digital activation, eCommerce, and public relations strategy for the U.S. business, in alignment with the CMO and broader Marketing leadership team.
    • Hire, coach, and develop a team of three to four direct reports, each owning a discrete function (Digital Activation, eCommerce, Public Relations), and build a scalable operating rhythm across the group.
    • Own the annual planning and budget process for digital media, eCommerce, and PR investment, ensuring spend is prioritized against the highest-return retailer and consumer touchpoints.
    • Represent digital and PR priorities in cross-functional planning with Sales, Category Management, Innovation, and the branded business units.

    Digital Activation & eCommerce
    • Own eCommerce performance and digital shelf strategy across Amazon, Walmart.com, Instacart, and retailer.com platforms, including content, search/SEO, and ratings & reviews.
    • Direct retail media network investment (Amazon Ads, Walmart Connect, Roundel, Criteo, and equivalent platforms) and paid social/programmatic media planning.
    • Lead eCommerce forecasting and coordinate with Supply Chain on inventory availability and fulfillment to protect digital shelf performance.
    • Oversee marketplace account management and platform partner relationships, and evaluate DTC, subscription, or click-and-collect opportunities where they support brand growth.
    • Champion digital innovation pilots (personalization, dynamic pricing, AI-enabled shopping tools) that keep Bonduelle competitive on the digital shelf.
    • Ensure a rigorous testing and optimization discipline (content and media A/B testing) to continuously improve conversion and ROAS.

    Public Relations
    • Own the U.S. public relations function and agenda, including media relations, executive visibility, and issue/crisis communications support.
    • Manage PR agency and partner relationships, ensuring brand storytelling is consistent with the CMO's brand strategy and the Groupe's global narrative.
    • Direct earned-media strategy around major moments, including the Lunch Bowls launch and other new product introductions.

    Analytics, Reporting & Board Communication
    • Own the digital, eCommerce, and PR reporting cadence, including digital shelf scorecards, media performance dashboards, and earned-media coverage tracking.
    • Translate performance data into clear recommendations for the CMO, CEO, and board-level updates.
    • Track competitive digital and PR activity, including Taylor Farms, Fresh Express, and other center-store and produce-adjacent competitors.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 10-12+ years of progressive experience across digital marketing, eCommerce, and/or public relations within CPG, food & beverage, or a related consumer products category, including experience managing a team.
  • Demonstrated success owning eCommerce P&L and digital shelf performance across major retailer.com, marketplace, and retail media platforms.
  • Direct experience overseeing a public relations function or agency of record, including media relations and executive communications.
  • Track record building and leading a multi-disciplinary team, with the judgment to prioritize across digital, eCommerce, and PR investment.
  • Experience supporting national product launches, ideally within grocery, produce, or shelf-stable categories.
  • Strong cross-functional collaborator, particularly with Sales and Category Management, able to translate brand strategy into retail and earned-media execution.
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, resource-lean environment typical of PE-backed or turnaround CPG businesses.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus.
