Want to learn more: Job Description:The Director, Dermatology, Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics directs and manages the clinical programs, operations, and staff of the Dermatology, Plastic Surgery, and Aesthetics service line. Working closely with staff, department directors, and physicians, the Director ensures the highest standards of quality and service are maintained and oversees quality improvement efforts designed to improve clinical performance and maintain regulatory compliance. The Director evaluates developments in medical care, makes recommendations for new practices and procedures, and advises executive and medical teams on matters impacting patient care and the growth of the service line. This role manages daily operations, finances, and strategic planning of the department, with accountability for both clinical outcomes and the financial performance of the service line.
Major Responsibilities:- Develops and executes service line strategy, aligns departmental goals with organizational priorities, and drives continuous improvement in quality, efficiency, and patient access.
- Manages daily operations, financial oversight, budgeting, and resource allocation.
- Organizes and manages physicians, advanced practice clinicians, nursing, and administrative staff. Oversees hiring, performance management, coaching, and professional development.
- Ensures standards for medical care are clearly communicated and maintained across all clinical settings. Oversees patient safety protocols, reviews adverse events, and fosters a culture of continuous improvement.
- Manages service line financial performance, including budget development, expense control, revenue cycle optimization, and financial reporting to meet departmental targets.
- Partners with department directors, executive leadership, and medical staff to advance organizational priorities and advises the executive team on patient care matters and service line growth opportunities.
- Prepare and present operational and financial reports to leadership on a regular basis.
- Facilitate team meetings that focus on results, alignment, coordination, and shared problem-solving.

Qualifications:Education:
- REQUIRED: Bachelor's degree in related field
- DESIRED: Master's degree in a related field
Certification/Registration/Licensure:
- REQUIRED: As required by applicable licensure standards and the primary discipline of the role. Current and active licensure must be maintained throughout employment.
Experience:
- REQUIRED: Five to seven years of demonstrated competency in a leadership role, experience with the related division, demonstrated ability to develop and build extensive relationships, and proven performance results across all dimensions of a service required.
