This role is Hybrid, Santa Monica Office

The Director, Customer Advocacy will oversee Cornerstone's global customer advocacy and engagement strategy. This leader will elevate Cornerstone's brand affinity and reputation by amplifying customer voices, creating meaningful connections, and driving loyalty among Cornerstone's customer base. The role requires a collaborative, strategic leader with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude who can partner across teams and time zones, engage with executives, and communicate effectively at all levels of the organization and externally.

This role leads a team of direct reports across the Americas, EMEA, and APJ, and is part of the larger Marketing department at Cornerstone. This is a highly collaborative and creative group; candidates should enjoy working closely with others and thrive in a dynamic, high-energy environment.

The ideal candidate is a clear and persuasive communicator with intellectual curiosity and a bias for action, preferably with experience in customer advocacy and engagement at a global B2B company.

In this role you will...
  • Lead Cornerstone's customer advocacy and engagement function and strategy.
  • Identify, nurture, and amplify customer champions by building and managing a robust advocacy program, including customer advisory board, case studies, references, testimonials, and speaking opportunities.
  • Create and scale initiatives that deepen customer relationships, such as user groups, customer events, and community-building programs.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Drive innovative customer storytelling that communicates Cornerstone's vision, strategy, and customer impact in compelling ways.

You've got what it takes if you have...
  • 8-12 years of progressive experience in customer advocacy, marketing, or communications, with an emphasis on B2B technology.
  • BA/BS degree is required with preference for degrees in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or related field.
  • Exceptional communication skills, including writing, editing, and presentation expertise.
  • Demonstrated ability to create comprehensive programs spanning advocacy, engagement, and events.
  • Excellent people and project management skills, with a track record of managing multiple time-sensitive initiatives under tight deadlines.
  • Innovative and creative thinking, with the ability to craft compelling narratives and execute them with precision.
  • Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to gain trust, secure buy-in, and influence stakeholders at all levels.
