The Director Creative Operations is responsible for facilitating cross-functional marketing automation technologies and leading operational strategy, workflow optimization, resource management, and lead capacity planning across the Creative Department driving standardization, efficiency and scalability.
How you will make an impact:
- Oversees the management creative operations technologies, workflows, and vendor partnerships including creative asset management systems, project management platforms, production vendors, freelance resources, multimedia services, translation services, and accessibility/508 remediation support.
- Develops and implements business process improvement to establish new strategies and achieve optimal savings for the Company.
- Stays abreast of and utilizes emerging technology, automation tools, AI-enabled solutions to achieve efficiencies and administrative savings.
- Leads consultation services associated with producing and delivering creative assets, collateral, materials, and services.
- Partners with business-unit specific marketing management, member communications, B2B communications, and marketing planning and strategy to implement large scale projects and process changes, which leverage marketing automation technologies.
- Identifies opportunities to improve the distribution of resources across the department with a disciplined project management approach.
- Uses data to drive process improvement projects.
- Builds/implements metrics/KPIs (volumes, timeliness, satisfaction, results, etc.), and prepares/delivers monthly departmental reports.
- Assists with the development of annual departmental budget and tracks monthly year-to-date budget status.
- Leads RFP initiatives (automation, creative, multimedia, etc.).
- Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 7 years of related experience including at least 3 years of leadership experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Skills, Capabilities and Experiences:
- Experience leading creative operations or agency operations strongly preferred.
- Experience leading creative capacity planning and resource management, including forecasting demand, optimizing team utilization, prioritizing work, and aligning creative resources with evolving business priorities.
- MBA preferred.
- Experience with Workfront and Airtable.
- Familiarity with Adobe, InDesign tools.
- Understanding of creative process and workflows.
For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary* range for this specific position is $124,320 to $223,776.
