Full Job Description
Ready to shape revenue growth across strategic corporate sales portfolios?

Corporate Sales sits within HSBC Corporate and Institutional Banking (CIB) and focuses on serving corporate clients across the group's Strategic and Focus segments. This role is about managing and developing revenue and profitability across an allocated client portfolio while delivering an excellent client experience. You'll bring market insight and product knowledge across foreign exchange instruments and interest rate derivatives to help clients navigate their needs and opportunities. You'll partner closely with Relationship Managers and product teams including Global Payments Solutions (GPS) and Global Trade Solutions (GTS) to improve product penetration and share of wallet. Success means stronger, trusted client relationships, growth in wallet share and more efficient service through greater use of e-capability. Where supervisory responsibility applies, you'll also set clear direction for the local Corporate Sales team and maintain a strong control environment.

What you'll be doing
  • Manage a portfolio of Strategic and/or Focus corporate clients, including Transactional clients where required
  • Identify sales opportunities from initial client need through to point of sale and through post-trade processes
  • Deliver day-to-day sales coverage across the full Corporate Sales offering including foreign exchange and interest rate derivatives
  • Develop trusted client relationships to grow revenue and increase product penetration and share of wallet
  • Partner with stakeholders including Relationship Managers, GPS and GTS to coordinate client coverage and solutions
  • Champion efficiency by migrating appropriate transactional activity to self-service e-capability and other service offerings
  • Coordinate with Corporate Risk Solutions (CRS) and offshore capability to support complex structuring and service delivery where relevant
  • Govern activity in line with agreed principles, SLAs and regulatory expectations, escalating unusual or unacceptable activity where needed
  • Set direction for reporting sales staff and oversee local Corporate Sales team performance where supervisory responsibility is assigned
  • Maintain robust front office supervision and compliance monitoring to mitigate risks including financial crime and inappropriate market conduct

What we're looking for
  • Bring proven experience serving corporate clients within Corporate Sales or a closely related markets environment
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of Corporate Sales products, clients, systems and end-to-end sales processes
  • Apply solid capital markets understanding across foreign exchange instruments (Spot, Options, Swaps, Forwards and Futures) and interest rate derivatives
  • Show experience developing client relationships that translate into revenue growth and greater product penetration
  • Evidence effective collaboration across banking and product partners to deliver coordinated client solutions
  • Operate confidently within relevant regulatory requirements including maintaining appropriate records and documentation for client interactions
  • Hold relevant local and cross-border regulatory exams and qualifications for non-advisory sales and trading activities, or bring equivalent demonstrable regulatory permissions experience
  • Bring experience managing a team, including performance management, coaching and building high-quality execution where applicable

Growing value through Corporate Sales

This role gives you scope to build deeper client partnerships and translate market insight into practical solutions for corporates. You'll have the platform to improve revenue outcomes while strengthening how we serve clients through efficient, well-controlled processes. Where team supervision applies, you'll shape a culture of high standards, clear oversight and consistent delivery. If you want to focus on client impact, commercial outcomes and disciplined risk management at scale we'd like to hear from you.

As an HSBC employee, you will have access to tailored professional development opportunities to ensure you have the right skills for today and tomorrow. We offer a competitive pay and benefits package including a robust Wellness Hub, all in a welcoming and inclusive work environment. You will be empowered to drive HSBC's engagement with the communities we serve through an industry-leading volunteerism policy, a generous matching gift program, and a comprehensive program of immersive Sustainability and Climate Change Initiatives. You'll want to join our Employee Resource Groups as they play a central part in life at HSBC, including the development of our employees and networking inside and outside of HSBC. We value difference. We succeed together. We take responsibility. We get it done. And we want you to help us build the bank of the future!

Your final fixed pay offer will depend on the candidate and several variables, including but not limited to, role responsibilities, skill set, depth of experience and education, licensing/certification requirements, internal relativity, and specific work location.
