*Successful candidate must be mobile within Halton region (Burlington, Oakville, Milton).

What will you do?
  • Manage a portfolio of large commercial clients, taking responsibility for the overall relationship strategy within the client's RBC relationship team
  • Provide an exceptional client experience by delivering proactive and customized business and financial advice, demonstrating a deep understanding of your clients' business and industry
  • Acquire and grow Senior Commercial Markets client relationships, collaborating with the client relationship team and bringing the full breadth of RBC to businesses, business owners and their employees
  • Work in close partnership and collaboration with CFS Finance to manage and support complex client credit needs, demonstrating strong credit acumen, as well as sound risk mitigation and portfolio oversight
  • Foster internal and external strategic partnerships and centres of influence (COIs) to meet the business' strategic goals while focusing on target market clients
  • Ensure clients are enabled to leverage digital solutions for themselves and their business


What do you need to succeed?

Must-Have
  • University degree, ideally in Commerce or Business Administration, with strong financial analysis skills
  • Minimum 3-5 years' commercial banking experience
  • Proven track record in business development and exceptional client relationship management skills
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Deep knowledge of banking products and services, including industry specialized knowledge, as applicable
  • Experience and comfort with emerging technology (e.g. video conferencing, social media, digital banking and mobile applications)

Nice-To-Have
  • MBA and/or CFA considered an asset
  • Bilingual (French/English)
