The RoleWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Director, Controller & Treasury, to manage accounting functions and oversee treasury activities. This key role will involve managing financial reporting, cash management & forecasting, and financial compliance, ensuring the company's financial integrity while supporting leadership in making strategic financial decisions.
What You'll Do- Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including preparation and analysis of financial statements in accordance with accounting principles.
- Manage the month-end and year-end closing process.
- Manage banking relationships and optimize financing and investment strategies.
- Coordinate with the finance team to ensure the accuracy of cash forecasts and budgets.
- Direct cash flow management, accounts payable/receivable and treasury functions to ensure financial stability.
- Coordinate and manage external audits and work closely with auditors to ensure accurate reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local tax regulations, including oversight of tax filings, reporting, and coordination with external tax advisors.
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to strengthen internal controls.
- Lead a team of accounting professionals, providing mentorship and fostering a culture of financial excellence.
Qualifications & Skills:- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA required).
- 5+ years of experience in finance leadership roles, preferably as a Controller or Treasurer.
- In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and accounting principles (IFRS and GAAP)
The expected compensation for this role is
$135,000-$159,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Final compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
