Position Description:

CGI is seeking a Director of Consulting Services, Financial and Consumer Services, to join our Vancouver team. In this senior leadership role, you will be responsible for growing and delivering professional services for a portfolio of clients across banking, insurance, and other consumer services sectors. You will establish and build client relationships, identify and develop new business opportunities, oversee delivery excellence, and help shape solutions that create meaningful outcomes for our clients and their customers.

This is a strategic role for a leader who can balance business development, consulting delivery, financial performance, client satisfaction, and people leadership. You will help grow CGI's presence in the Vancouver market while supporting a culture grounded in ownership, teamwork, respect, and belonging.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

. Lead the growth and delivery of consulting and professional services for banking, insurance, and consumer services clients in the Vancouver market
. Build and maintain trusted relationships with executive and senior client stakeholders, acting as a business partner and advisor
. Develop and execute account growth strategies, including pipeline development, opportunity qualification, proposal leadership, and deal pursuit
. Identify client needs and shape business and technology solutions that align to client priorities, including digital transformation, modernization, data, analytics, AI, cloud, managed services, and business process improvement
. Manage the financial performance of an assigned book of business, including revenue growth, profitability, forecasting, and risk management
. Oversee delivery quality across client engagements, ensuring commitments are met and client satisfaction remains high
. Lead multidisciplinary CGI teams, including consultants, delivery leaders, architects, business analysts, project managers, and technical professionals
. Partner with CGI business units, practices, and alliance teams to bring the right capabilities and solutions to clients
. Support proposal development, contract negotiations, and commercial planning in collaboration with CGI leadership and internal teams
. Coach, mentor, and develop team members while supporting recruitment, retention, performance management, and career growth
. Promote CGI's values and ownership culture through transparent communication, collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
. Represent CGI in the market through professional networks, industry relationships, and client facing thought leadership

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

. Progressive leadership experience in consulting, professional services, systems integration, managed services, or technology enabled business transformation
. Demonstrated experience growing client relationships and developing new business within complex enterprise accounts
. Working knowledge of financial services, with experience supporting banking and/or insurance clients
. Experience leading professional services delivery, including scope, quality, financial performance, risk, stakeholder management, and client satisfaction
. Strong understanding of business and technology priorities in regulated, customer facing industries, such as digital transformation, modernization, data, AI, cloud, cybersecurity, operational efficiency, and customer experience
. Proven ability to build trusted relationships with senior executives, business leaders, technology leaders, procurement teams, and delivery stakeholders
. Experience managing or contributing to proposals, statements of work, pricing, negotiations, and account planning
. Strong financial acumen, including forecasting, revenue growth, margin management, and P&L accountability
. People leadership experience, including coaching, performance management, talent development, and team engagement
. Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and problem solving skills

Desired Qualifications:

. Existing professional network in the Vancouver or Western Canadian financial services, insurance, or consumer services market
. Experience with large scale transformation programs, application modernization, data and analytics initiatives, cloud adoption, managed services, or business process services
. Familiarity with banking and insurance operating models, regulatory considerations, risk management, compliance, fraud, payments, lending, policy administration, claims, or customer experience
. Experience working in a matrixed consulting organization with distributed delivery teams
. Ability to develop market relevant offerings and bring together cross functional teams to solve complex client challenges

Education and Certification:

. Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience
. MBA or relevant graduate degree is considered an asset
. Relevant certifications in sales, account management, project/program management, agile delivery, cloud, data, cybersecurity, or financial services are considered assets
