Director (Consulting - Public Sector)
USA: Mountain View, CA or Walnut Creek, CA (Hybrid)
Position Summary:The Directyor supports and leads the delivery of advisory engagements, with a focus on internal audit and consulting services for public sector clients. This role contributes to project execution, client communication, and analysis, while developing technical expertise and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, and reporting
- Conduct client interviews, testing, and data analysis
- Prepare and review deliverables such as internal audit reports and process assessments
- Collaborate with managers and team members to meet project timelines and budgets
- Maintain strong client relationships through clear, professional communication
- Apply firm methodologies, tools, and quality standards across engagements
- Contribute to business development and knowledge sharing initiatives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 10+ years of relevant experience in public accounting, internal audit, or consulting
- Experience with government/public sector clients preferred
- CPA required - CIA or CFE are a plus
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Proficiency in Excel and presentation tools
Compensation: $190,000-$250,000 base salary, plus bonus programs.
