Full Job Description
The Mission

At Everpure, we're building an Emerging Business organization focused on accelerating new growth opportunities from incubation to scalable businesses. As the Director of Commercial Strategy and Programs, you will design and operationalize the commercial systems that enable emerging businesses to scale from early adoption to repeatable growth.

Success in this role requires broad cross-functional fluency and leadership, a deep understanding of how our sales organization operates, and the ability to translate an idea into a repeatable commercial motion-from strategy and pricing, through pipeline creation, to Closed/Won.

You will build the operational backbone that enables emerging businesses to scale. This includes identifying what needs to change, creating the mechanisms to support it, and bringing together the right teams to make it happen.

This is an incubation role. You will operate in ambiguity and solve problems that don't have established playbooks. When you encounter a wall, you won't wait for someone else to tell you how to get around it-you'll find a way around, over, under, or through it.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Build Commercial Models: Develop and operationalize the pricing and commercial models required to bring emerging products to market-from initial offers and pricing structures to scalable models. This includes Evergreen//One for FlashBlade//EXA, bundles, and other innovative commercial constructs.
  • Create Sales Motions & Incentives: Translate emerging business strategies into executable sales motions. Design compensation and incentive programs that align the field to the behaviors and bookings needed to build new businesses, and drive adoption of these programs through field enablement.
  • Enable New Business Models: Identify and solve the commercial and operational requirements needed to bring new business models to market, including structuring contracts with third-party hardware and technology providers to enable complete, orderable solutions.
  • Make Emerging Products Orderable: Own the cross-functional process of turning an emerging product or solution into something the field can actually sell. Navigate pricing approvals, SKUs, contracts, systems, processes, documentation, and other operational requirements to remove barriers to selling.
  • Lead Across the Organization: Serve as the connective tissue across Product Management, Finance, Sales, Legal, Marketing, Sales Operations, and other functions. Drive decisions, resolve roadblocks, and keep complex initiatives moving from concept to execution.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
  • Builder Mentality: You thrive in environments where the playbook doesn't exist. You see a problem, figure out what needs to be true to solve it, and make it happen.
  • Commercial Acumen: You understand how businesses get built-from strategy, pricing, and business models through sales motions, pipeline, bookings, and Closed/Won.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: You are skilled at bringing together teams with different priorities and driving them toward a common outcome, even when you don't have direct authority.
  • Strategic & Tactical Range: You can move seamlessly between defining the commercial strategy and rolling up your sleeves to solve the details that stand in the way of execution.
  • Problem Solver: When the existing process doesn't work, you don't stop at "that's not how we do it." You find a way around, over, under, or through the wall.
  • Comfort with Ambiguity: You are energized by new businesses, evolving priorities, and incomplete information.

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations.

This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

There is no application deadline and we accept applications on an ongoing basis until the job is filled.

The annual base salary range is:

$163,000-$371,000 USD
