This position can be based in Irvine, CA or Jacksonville, FL.Purpose:The Director, Commercial Strategy & Innovation will lead transformative initiatives to shape the long-term US Strategic Roadmap to accelerate business performance while building an ecosystem to drive internal/external engagement within the US Surgical Vision segment. This role involves creating the strategy for the equipment portfolio, shaping of a robust value proposition, and the implementation of effective key initiatives to drive long-term strategic impact across the Surgical Vision business.You will be responsible for:- Equipment Strategy: Initiate and lead the Equipment Strategy, delivering a comprehensive recommendation in enabling our equipment portfolio to enhance our value proposition. Drive execution of strategic initiatives focused on optimizing innovative value propositions and comprehensive pricing framework.
- Shape Category Insights to Drive Action: Leverages key internal and external, as well as categorical trends, to understand areas of opportunity in the short-term and long-term health of the US Surgical Vision.
- Creative Content: Own E2E visualization of organizational strategy to drive intended outcomes as well as asset creation to influence and engage internal/external stakeholders.
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with Global Sales Management (GSM), Research & Development (R&D), and Supply Chain (SC) to create the US Strategic Plan.
- Strategic Professional Engagement: Design and oversee internal and external engagements to enhance connectivity, strengthen brand equity, and drive engagement in line with business priorities.
- Business Development Representations: shape business case inputs for transformational projects to support business development deals and strategic partnerships, including the US commercialization & implementation roadmap.
Qualifications - Minimum of a bachelor’s degree is required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years progressive business experience is required.
- Extensive experience in commercial strategy, project management, and cross-functional leadership within the healthcare or medical sector.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with a proven ability to influence and gain buy-in from senior leadership.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a track record of building collaborative relationships across teams.
- Demonstrated ability to drive organizational change initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and high performance.
- Proficiency in segmentation and strategic planning with a focus on achieving financial and operational excellence.
- Up to 30% business travel may be required.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$150,000.00 - $258,750.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation –120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado –48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington –56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays –13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave – 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave – 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave – 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave – 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off – 80 hours per calendar year
