Job SummaryPatientPoint is looking for a Director, Client Sales to lead retention and growth across our emerging pharmaceutical client base. You'll own an existing book of newly won accounts, turning first-year wins into long-term, expanding partnerships. This is a high-visibility, high-growth seat on our Business Development team, with a strong internal support system built to help you deliver for clients and hit your numbers.
What You'll Do: - Own retention and expansion of a defined book of recently won pharmaceutical accounts, building the strategic account plans that turn new, emerging clients into multi-year partners.
- Build deep expertise in point-of-care media so you can advise clients credibly on how to grow their footprint with PatientPoint.
- Develop and nurture multi-threaded relationships within each account, reducing single-point-of-contact risk and strengthening renewal likelihood.
- Identify and cultivate expansion opportunities within existing accounts - additional brands, new indications, incremental budget.
- Navigate complex client situations and internal processes, knowing when to loop in senior leadership or cross-functional support.
- Partner with Client Success and Marketing to ensure program performance data supports the renewal and expansion conversation.
- Mentor Account Executives across all BD pharma accounts
What We Need: - 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical media sales, agency account management, or digital marketing.
- Working knowledge of the Business Development function and the specific dynamics of retaining and growing newly won clients.
- An existing network of agency and/or pharmaceutical brand contacts you can bring into the role.
- Strong knowledge of the emerging pharmaceutical landscape; point-of-care experience is a plus.
What You'll Need to Succeed: - An outgoing, client-first mentality with genuine curiosity about what makes a brand's launch succeed.
- Fluency in RX brand marketing plans and objectives, and how to position PatientPoint's health vertical against them.
- A driven, independent operator who takes ownership of account outcomes without needing to be managed closely.
- Strong consultative instincts - able to bring data-backed recommendations to clients that improve program performance and surface the next opportunity.
- A collaborative approach; this role works closely with Client Success, Marketing, and BD leadership to deliver results.
Reporting & Structure: This role sits within the Business Development farming structure and reports through the Client Sales leadership team. Compensation reflects a farming-economics model, weighted toward renewal rate, retention, and in-account growth rather than net-new logo acquisition.
What We Offer: We know you bring your whole self to work every day, and we are committed to supporting our full-time teammates with a comprehensive range of modernized benefits and cultural perks. We offer competitive compensation, flexible time off to recharge, hybrid work options, mental and emotional wellness resources, a 401K plan, and more. While these benefits are available to full-time team members, we strive to create a positive and supportive environment for all teammates.
