Position Overview
Zelis is seeking a dynamic and strategic Chief of Staff to support the President, Price Optimization and the broader leadership team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate exceptional strategic acumen, executive communication capabilities, operational excellence, and a proven ability to drive cross-functional and enterprise-wide initiatives.
This role serves as a trusted advisor and operational partner to executive leadership, responsible for driving organizational effectiveness, managing business rhythms, and ensuring alignment across enterprise priorities. The position requires a highly proactive individual who can manage multiple high-priority initiatives, synthesize complex information into actionable insights, and influence stakeholders across all levels of the organization.

What you will do:
  • Serve as a strategic partner to the President, Price and leadership team, aligning priorities, evaluating growth opportunities, developing strategic recommendations, tracking critical initiatives, and strengthening connectivity across teams and enterprise stakeholders.
  • Drive organizational effectiveness by establishing and maintaining leadership operating rhythms, governance structures, and executive cadences for the Price Leadership Team.
  • Partner cross-functionally with Enterprise leaders, Finance, Marketing, Legal, Operations, Sales, People & Culture and the Office of the CEO to support strategic business priorities, growth initiatives, financial analyses, and enterprise execution.
  • Drive accountability across initiatives by managing timelines, dependencies, workback schedules, and stakeholder deliverables.
  • Break down complex business, operational, and financial topics and synthesize inputs into clear, insight-driven narratives that inform, influence, and inspire executive audiences.
  • Develop, manage, and oversee materials for MIT management, Board meetings, Operating Committee (OpComm) meetings and offsites, IPO-related deliverables, Price monthly meetings, etc.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and executive readiness of all presentation materials, communications, and leadership deliverables.
  • Lead planning, coordination, and execution of Leadership offsites, Town halls, etc.
  • Own end-to-end management of leadership meetings and business rhythms, including agenda development, content creation, executive presentation development, pre-read coordination, action item tracking and follow-up


What you will bring:
  • 10 years of experience in strategy, consulting, investment banking, business operations, program management, corporate strategy, or Chief of Staff functions.
  • Experience supporting executive leaders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
  • Exceptional executive storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
  • Ability to translate topics and business priorities for diverse audiences in ways that build alignment, clarity, and engagement.
  • Strong presentation development skills with experience creating executive-level materials and communications.
  • Proven project management capability, including managing multiple high-priority initiatives, timelines, workback schedules, and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive accountability and influence stakeholders, including senior leaders.
  • Exceptional analytical, organizational, financial modeling, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail, including the ability to interpret key business metrics and develop executive-level analyses.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence across all levels of the organization.

Location and Workplace Flexibility

Zelis is headquartered in the U.S., with multiple locations across the country and in Hyderabad, India. Check out our locations to learn more about our offices. All employee work locations are based on the needs of the position and are determined by the Leadership team. In-office work and activities vary based on work and team objectives in accordance with Company policies.

While location expectations vary by role, candidates within approximately 50 miles of a U.S. office are generally preferred to support collaboration when needed. Our hybrid approach is flexible, and in-office presence is guided by team and business needs rather than a fixed weekly schedule.

Base Salary Range
$153,000.00 - $193,800.00

The base salary range allows us to make an offer that considers multiple individualized factors, including experience, education, qualifications, as well as job-related and industry-related knowledge and skills, etc. Base pay is just one part of our Total Rewards package, which may also include discretionary bonus plans, commissions, or other incentives depending on the role.
