Summary: Responsible for the operation of the Cancer Center. He/She assesses the needs of the service and develops strategies and systems to meet those needs. He/She works with physicians, administrators, educators, consumers, and others to meet the goals of the Cancer Center. He/She creates a culture that is responsive to patients and their families.
Education: Bachelor's Degree in related health care related field. Masters preferred.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years clinical and management experience in a health care related field. Experience in budget management and financial reporting. Possess leadership abilities and be knowledgeable and skillful in communicating and effecting change for multiple areas of responsibility.
Working Conditions, Physical Environment and/or Safety Requirements: Works in a well-lighted and well-ventilated area. May be exposed to disagreeable odors, sights, bodily waste, or infectious diseases. Attends all safety related training programs. Physical Demands: May be required to lift up to 20 pounds from time to time. Intermittent sitting, standing, and walking. Meets all safety requirements associated with the Medical Center.
