What's the role?

We're looking for a dynamic Director, Business Development focused on securing Integrated Facility Services (IFS) partnerships across K-12 districts and higher education institutions. You'll be working with multi-site environments where operational reliability, cost management, and campus experience are closely linked.

We partner with K-12 school districts, private universities, and higher educationsystems to manage and optimize their built environments - allowing administrators and leadership teams to focus on academic outcomes while we ensure operational excellence. The emphasis is on multi-year, bundled solutions that include:
  • Custodial / janitorial services.
  • Facilities maintenance (preventative & reactive).
  • HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems support.
  • Grounds and exterior services.
  • Facilities management (FM) and staffing models.
  • Energy management and sustainability programs.
  • Capital planning support and asset lifecycle management.

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
  • You bring a strong combination of commercial acumen and operational understanding, with the ability to navigate complex environments and build credibility with senior stakeholders.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in solution-based selling within facility services, outsourcing, or managed services.
  • Direct experience working with K-12 school districts and/or higher education institutions.
  • A proven track record of closing large, multi-year contracts (typically $1M+ annually).
  • Strong understanding of integrated facility management models, including bundled service delivery across technical and soft services.
  • Experience navigating procurement-driven environments and formal RFP processes.
  • The ability to translate operational solutions into clear financial and institutional value.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with executive-level and operational stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach, working cross-functionally with operations, finance, and technical teams.
  • A degree in business, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Flexibility to travel based on client needs (approximately 60-70%).
