Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our Director of Business Development - Hospital, you will develop, administer, and direct strategic and tactical operational activities for assigned service lines, focusing on program development, strategy, and execution to ensure high-quality, cost-effective clinical outcomes. Every day you will evaluate existing services, identify and reduce gaps/barriers within the system, and develop processes that enhance accessibility within the catchment area. You will collaborate closely with Medical Directors, Service Line VPs, and the Strategy Team, directly reporting to the Hospital President, with a dotted line to the Service Line VPs. To be successful in this role, you will possess strong strategic planning and execution skills in healthcare business development, a proven ability to identify and resolve systemic gaps, and exceptional collaborative skills for working with clinical teams and leadership to drive program growth and service accessibility.
- Directs the development of strategic and operational programs for the service area.
- Plans and implements established departmental and service policies and procedures, which compliment nursing division and hospital policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agencies and accrediting bodies governing healthcare delivery by continually monitoring the service and hospital operations, programs, and initiating required changes or improvements.
- Establishes service performance goals, allocates resources and evaluates performance.
- Maintains an ongoing analysis of clinical service performance and monitors trends and opportunities.
- Collaborates effectively with physicians, peers, staff and administration to promote interdisciplinary communication and cooperation.
Job Requirements
Required
- Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management or related field
- Seven (7) years of management experience and proven leadership experience within assigned service line areas
Preferred
- Master Degree in relevant discipline
