We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Application Development Manager to join our Conventional Trust Platform Engineering team . This role is located in New York City.

In this role, you'll make an impact in the following ways:
  • Manage multiple application development projects across diverse platforms through all phases of the systems development lifecycle; ensure the availability, integrity, and stability of production systems with processes that enable rapid response to issues.
  • Work collaboratively with business partners to define, design, develop, test, implement, and support technology solutions that deliver significant revenue or cost impact; act as an advocate for change management, encouraging innovation and creativity.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of multiple application systems; identify and allocate resource requirements; monitor and improve quality; ensure adherence to best-practice development techniques.
  • Manage and forecast operating budgets within approved plans; communicate timely and accurate project-related information to relevant stakeholders.

To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
  • Advanced degree in computer science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  • 12+ years of experience in systems analysis and application development, including supervisory, management, and administrative responsibilities; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus.
  • Proven expertise delivering enterprise-scale solutions across heterogeneous environments (software, hardware, tools, and cloud), with strong skills in modern SDLC practices, DevOps, and quality engineering.
  • Data and AI skill requirements: hands-on experience with data engineering and analytics (e.g., SQL, data modeling, pipelines), familiarity with AI/ML concepts and lifecycle (model development, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring), and the ability to leverage AI-enabled tools for software development, testing, and operations in accordance with governance and risk standards.

Base salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
