Description

About the role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Director of Analog Design to lead our expanding analog and mixed-signal engineering team. This leadership role will drive the development of advanced analog power management circuits and custom IPs that underpin next-generation AI, cloud, and edge applications. The ideal candidate will combine deep analog design expertise with strategic insight into AI hardware, cloud, and edge computing applications, enabling transformative solutions that meet both performance and sustainability goals.

What you'll achieve:
  • Lead and mentor a high-performing team of analog and mixed-signal engineers in designing cutting-edge voltage regulators, sensors, and power management circuits.
  • Collaborate closely with system architects, AI hardware teams, and third-party IP vendors to co-develop innovative analog IP solutions optimized for AI workloads, cloud, and edge applications
  • Drive analog design strategies that support AI inference and training workloads deployed on cloud and edge platforms, ensuring robustness across process, voltage, and temperature variations.
  • Oversee physical design integration, layout best practices, and post-silicon validation to accelerate productization cycles.
  • Align analog design efforts with broader AI system requirements including power efficiency, latency, and reliability for real-world AI applications.

About you:
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in analog and mixed-signal circuit design, with proven leadership in managing design teams.
  • Deep expertise in high-precision analog circuits including voltage regulators (LDOs, buck converters), opamps, comparators, and current/voltage sensors.
  • Strong understanding of noise, mismatch, and other analog design challenges critical to AI hardware performance.
  • Experience designing analog IP in advanced FinFET technology nodes preferred.
  • Proficiency with Cadence design tools for schematic capture, layout, and Spice simulation.
  • Demonstrated ability to architect analog solutions for AI, cloud, and edge applications preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI system architectures, including cloud and edge computing paradigms, and how analog design impacts overall AI workload efficiency and reliability preferred.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including digital design, software, and system-level testing groups.

  • Electrical or Computer Engineering - Bachelor's degree & 15 years of related experience; or master's degree & 12 years; or PhD & 8 years with a strong foundation in analog circuit theory and design methodologies.
