Full Job Description
About The Role

We're seeking a Director of Advisor Relations to own retention for Fora X-our community of highest-value advisors. You'll create a cohesive and scalable function including the team, the experiences, and the recognition programs that keep our top advisors with Fora and growing their businesses.

You'll own a travel-knowledge bench (luxury-travel experts advisors are routed to) and the experiences and recognition that keep a demanding, high-performing community with Fora. You know why a given conference, event, or fam matters and what order an advisor should experience them-and you can prove that advisors who go through these experiences retain and grow more than those who don't.

This is a builder's role for a senior operator, reporting to the Head of Advisor Experience. Fora X is roughly doubling the number of advisors it supports this year and growing again next. You will design the systems (segmentation, allocation, measurement) that make experiences and recognition work at scale without losing the personal feel.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead the Advisor Relations team - lead, develop and manage the travel-knowledge expert bench and programming at scale.
  • Own the strategy and execution of the experiences that retain advisors - hosted conferences, local offices, and co-working. Partner with the Advisor Events, Partner Engagement, and Partner teams to sharpen the goals, approach, and advisor-fit of partner experiences (fams, retreats, hotel openings, etc) and bespoke, business-stage-appropriate events. Prove which programs grow and retain advisors, and allocate investment against that evidence.
  • Own Fora X recognition programs end-to-end, including standing up new ones-their operations, experience and events throughout the year, and qualification criteria. Collaborate with lifecycle marketing to define recognition throughout the year and a Fora X Advisor's lifecycle.
  • Own Fora X Advisor sentiment. When Support, NPS, advisor insights (owned by our insights team) or an advisor surfaces a Fora X Advisor issues, lead the response and build cross-functional processes to escalate, create resolution accountability, and advocate across product, support, and programming as needed.
  • Run the travel-knowledge bench as a service center so the Fora X business partner team can taps into depth of expertise - talking through travel nuances or choosing the right conference for an advisor.
Requirements
  • 10+ years in travel, hospitality, membership, or premium member experience - with 3+ years at a senior, lead, or director level owning a function or program end-to-end
  • A track record of building high-performing programs from the ground up - you can name what you built, its scale, and what it produced
  • Demonstrated ability to link experience to commercial outcomes - you can show what you built kept members retained and growing
  • A track record of scaling a high-touch program - you've built the systems (segmentation, qualification, allocation, self-serve) that let a small team serve many more people without losing quality
  • Experience hiring, managing, and developing a team; experience managing a contractor or vendor bench is a plus
  • Travel-adjacent credibility - fluent enough in luxury travel to earn the respect of successful advisors and the experts you'll manage; you don't need to be a deep travel expert yourself (the bench carries that depth)
  • Comfort owning scarce, high-demand access (event seats, fam slots) - fair, holistic, and able to manage expectations of our top advisors well
  • Strong cross-functional skills and genuine warmth toward the full community
  • Ability to work in the U.S.
Strongly Preferred
  • High-growth startup or technology-enabled business experience
  • AI-forward-excited to use new tools as a core part of how you work

We're looking for a senior operator who has built experiences that measurably changed how a high-value group performs and why they stay.
Compensation

Compensation for this role varies based on experience, with an indicative range of $170K-$190K base salary + performance bonus + equity. Final compensation will depend on the level at which the candidate is hired, as we're considering multiple levels for this role.
