Description

The Director, Account Management, SalonCentric leads channel strategy, sales performance, and retailer partnerships for Bumble and bumble, driving growth through account planning, insights, marketing, merchandising, inventory management, and sales analysis.

Overall Strategy Development and Execution
  • Develop account strategies that define omni-channel goals, sales priorities, and channel plans.
  • Use retailer and market insights to guide category, marketing, assortment, merchandising, promotion, and event priorities.
  • Build annual retailer and retailer.com activation calendars aligned to brand objectives.
  • Align account plans with corporate, North America, and brand strategies.
  • Represent account needs across product development, education, creative, marketing, and merchandising.
  • Ensure channel consistency across Bb's omni-channel business.
  • Lead new launch planning while supporting core business priorities.
  • Analyze post-launch performance and identify future opportunities.
  • Stay close to the field to understand competitors, channel opportunities, and retailer needs.
  • Strengthen retailer relationships through meetings, tradeshows, and key events.

Trade Marketing and Visual Merchandising
  • Build omni-channel activation calendars across in-store, digital, social, events, promotions, and brand programs.
  • Ensure strong brand presence in store and on retailer.com.
  • Partner cross-functionally on marketing, assortment, inventory, sampling, sets, exclusives, and gifts.
  • Lead visual merchandising updates, secondary placements, and Creative brief execution.
  • Coordinate presentation needs for planning, business reviews, T2Ts, and key meetings.

Sales Analysis
  • Own sales reporting and share insights with leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Analyze sales, product, and mix trends to improve performance.
  • Monitor business results and recommend actions.
  • Support new channel launches.

Communication
  • Lead buyer communications to align on opportunities, challenges, and priorities.

P&L Management
  • Manage account OPEX and monthly net sales estimates with Planning.
  • Drive ROI across key business levers.

Sales Planning and Forecasting
  • Lead channel, customer, and store-level sales planning.
  • Partner with Supply Chain to support inventory needs for stock, launches, and promotions.
  • Review stock-to-sales ratios with the customer Planner to maximize sales.
  • Provide accurate channel forecasts to Supply Chain, Marketing, and Finance.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years relevant work experience.
  • Proven, successful sales track record in professional channel; SalonCentric and/or CosmoProf
  • Self-motivated and flexible; able to adapt quickly to change.
  • Able to build collaborative relationships and work cross functionally with sales, marketing, education, finance, retail partners, demand planning and supply chain.
  • Excellent analytical skills.
  • Must be proficient at Excel and Power Point.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Handle multiple projects simultaneously.
