Title and Summary

Director, Account Management, Chase Consumer Co-Brand

The Chase Consumer team is seeking a highly motivated, intellectually curious, and relationship-driven team player to join the team as Director of Account Management. This role will be responsible for owning and advancing Mastercard's co-brand portfolio strategy across Chase's consumer bank, with a focus on deepening existing relationships, identifying new growth opportunities, and strengthening Mastercard's position as a strategic partner.

This role's remit will cover five co-brand portfolios across the travel, lodging, and digital partnerships space. The Director will serve as a key relationship lead across these portfolios, managing ongoing engagement with stakeholders through regular touchpoints, quarterly business reviews, strategic planning discussions, and day-to-day partnership management. This individual will be expected to understand Chase's business priorities, anticipate evolving portfolio needs, and connect those priorities to Mastercard's products, services, data, insights, marketing, loyalty, rewards, and platform capabilities.

This is a highly visible role that requires strong executive presence, sound business judgment, and the ability to balance strategic thinking with disciplined execution. The Director will be expected to wear multiple hats - serving as a trusted advisor, strategist, relationship manager, and project leader while partnering across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders to drive client and business objectives.

Key responsibilities include:
• Own and manage Mastercard's relationship across Chase's consumer co-brand portfolios, identifying growth opportunities, portfolio optimization strategies, and areas where Mastercard can deliver incremental value.
• Serve as a strategic connector across Chase, Mastercard, and co-brand partners, navigating complex stakeholder relationships, aligning objectives, and advancing shared business goals.
• Analyze portfolio performance, financial, payment, and market data to generate meaningful insights and strategic recommendations that drive revenue growth and partner value.
• Drive year-over-year revenue growth through renewal, upsell, and new services sales across the portfolio.
• Lead regular client touchpoints, bi-annual business reviews, quarterly tri-party meetings, and strategic planning sessions, ensuring priorities, initiatives, and action items are effectively managed and advanced.
• Build new relationships across Chase's loyalty, rewards, partnerships, and Co-Brand Center of Excellence teams, uncovering unmet needs and expanding Mastercard's footprint across the broader organization.
• Support commercial planning, pipeline development, and deal execution across portfolio renewals, value proposition enhancements, services engagements, and new business opportunities.
• Drive operational excellence across the portfolio, ensuring issues, escalations, reporting requirements, contractual commitments, and client deliverables are proactively managed and executed.

All About You
The ideal candidate is a strategic and collaborative professional who is energized by complex partnerships, executive engagement, and the opportunity to grow one of Mastercard's most important consumer relationships.
You should bring:
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or relevant advanced degree a plus.
• Prior account management, sales, or client-facing experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to manage and grow complex, high-value partnerships across multiple stakeholders and business units.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to develop polished client-facing materials, executive briefings, and strategic recommendations.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret portfolio performance, market trends, customer needs, and business opportunities.
• Strong project management and execution discipline

In line with Mastercard's total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
