Responsibilities
What your days will look like as Director of Sales - Transport & Logistics (3PL)- You develop and implement a sales strategy to drive revenue growth and strengthen MtlLINK's market presence;
- You identify, develop, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients;
- You collaborate closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure the quality of the solutions delivered;
- You prepare competitive commercial proposals tailored to client needs;
- You manage the sales pipeline, forecasts, results, and key performance indicators;
- You analyze the market, competitors, and industry trends to identify new business opportunities;
- You represent MtlLINK with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the transportation and logistics sector;
- You contribute to the continuous improvement of sales processes and the optimization of the customer experience;
- You perform all other related duties.
Qualifications
To succeed as Director of Sales - Transport & Logistics (3PL), you will need:- You have 10 years of relevant experience in B2B sales, ideally in transportation, logistics, supply chain, or related services;
- A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (business administration, sales, marketing, or logistics) or an equivalent combination of education and experience;
- Strong business development skills, with the ability to negotiate and close commercial agreements;
- A solid understanding of integrated supply chain operations, including maritime transport, trucking, rail, and distribution;
- You are recognized for your leadership, strategic mindset, and results-driven approach;
- You have the ability to build long-term partnerships and deliver a high-quality client experience;
- You are proficient in sales-related technologies, including MS Office and CRM tools;
- You are bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written: given the need to communicate with local, pan-Canadian, and international clients and partners, proficiency in both languages is required;
- You have strong prioritization skills and can adapt in a fast-paced, constantly evolving environment;
- You demonstrate autonomy, rigor, collaboration, and a strong commitment to quality.
