Le/la Directeur/directrice technique de comptes fournit des services techniques aux clients assignés dans le secteur Beauté et soins personnels afin de favoriser la croissance des ventes. Ce poste contribue à différencier Univar Solutions de ses concurrents grâce à une approche consultative axée sur les besoins des clients et sur les technologies qu'ils utilisent. Les responsabilités comprennent également l'adaptation et le déploiement local des stratégies produits et services, le soutien aux représentants des ventes et aux équipes de l'industrie lors de visites conjointes, l'identification des solutions technologiques les mieux adaptées aux applications des clients ainsi que l'élaboration de stratégies favorisant l'adoption ou la conversion vers les produits d'Univar Solutions. Le titulaire du poste contribue au développement rentable des ventes en adoptant une approche-conseil. Il établit et maintient des partenariats à long terme avec les clients grâce à son expertise de l'industrie. Il mobilise les ressources d'Univar Solutions afin de répondre aux besoins des clients et recueille des renseignements stratégiques sur le marché. Ce que vous ferez • Développer des relations solides avec les clients et rechercher activement de nouvelles occasions de croissance pour les produits. • Préparer et présenter des exposés techniques sur les formulations cosmétiques destinés aux équipes de recherche et développement des clients. • Fournir un soutien technique aux équipes de R-D des clients. • Effectuer des visites clients dans le cadre de projets à fort potentiel et établir une relation de confiance sur le plan technique. • Assurer le suivi complet du cycle de vente (échantillons, essais, propositions, visites, etc.). • Développer de nouvelles perspectives commerciales de façon proactive et surveiller les activités de la concurrence. • Représenter les fournisseurs et assurer une circulation efficace de l'information de marché entre les principaux partenaires commerciaux, tout en respectant les normes de conformité. • Effectuer une veille continue du marché en matière d'innovations technologiques, d'évolutions réglementaires et d'exigences législatives. • Maintenir le système CRM à jour et générer des occasions d'affaires ciblées favorisant la croissance. Ce dont vous aurez besoin • Baccalauréat en chimie, en sciences ou dans une discipline technique connexe (préférablement). • Au moins cinq (5) années d'expérience pertinente dans l'industrie des soins personnels et de la beauté, avec une expertise spécialisée en produits. • Expérience de collaboration avec des clients, partenaires fournisseurs et intervenants internes à différents niveaux organisationnels. • Maîtrise des outils informatiques et de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word et PowerPoint). • Excellentes compétences organisationnelles et capacité à gérer plusieurs projets complexes simultanément. • Grande rigueur et souci du détail, avec une forte capacité à assurer les suivis. • Professionnalisme, intégrité et éthique des affaires irréprochables. • Capacité à comprendre les enjeux du marché et à aligner les activités commerciales sur les objectifs de l'entreprise. • Solides compétences en développement des affaires et en gestion de multiples priorités. • Excellentes aptitudes en communication orale et écrite et fortes habiletés relationnelles. • Disponibilité pour voyager régulièrement. • Maîtrise du français et de l'anglais, tant à l'oral qu'à l'écrit. Technical Account Manager - Beauty and Personal Care The Technical Account Manager will provide technical services to assigned Beauty and Personal Care customers for the purpose of sales growth. It will promote a distinction between Univar Solutions and our competitors by using a technical consultative approach to needs-based evaluations of the technology customers use. Additional duties include adapting and implementing on a local basis, the product strategies and services; assisting field sellers and industry team members with joint calls; identifying which Univar technological product best suits the customer's applications and developing strategies to promote customers' adaptation and or conversion to Univar products. It builds profitable sales, employing a consultative approach. Develops and maintains a long-term partnership with customers by using industry expertise. Uses Univar resources to provide solutions to customer needs and gathers market intelligence. What you'll do • Develop effective customer relationships and actively seek new product opportunities. • Prepare technical presentations on cosmetic formulations for the customer's R&D department. • Support the customer's R&D department at a technical level. • Visit customers on high-profitability projects, create relationships and reliability on a technical level. • Follow the sales cycle (proposals, samples, visits, etc.). • Develop new perspectives proactively and supervise competitive activity. • Representing suppliers and exchanging market information effectively between the main trading partners, maintaining compliance standards. • Constantly monitor the market by mapping technological innovations, regulatory updates and reference legislation. • Keep the CRM system up to date, generating "Target Business Opportunities" that ensure growth. What You'll Need • Bachelor's degree (technical or Chemistry preferred). • Successful experience (five years minimum) with a specialized product concentration in the Beauty and Personal Care industry. • Experience dealing with customers at multiple levels, both internal and external, and supplier partners. • Proficient in the use of computers and MS Office including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to handle complex projects and multi-task responsibilities. • Ability to manage detailed work activities and be persistent in following up on details. • Possess tact, integrity and high business ethics. • Understand current issues and align sales efforts with stated company objectives. • Demonstrated selling skills & multi-tasking abilities. • Strong interpersonal skills, both oral and written, are necessary to communicate effectively inside and outside the organization. • Ability to travel. • You are fluent in French and English language.
