Role Overview

As a Director, Technical Product Management, you will own and manage the product and strategy throughout its lifecycle, ensuring it delivers business value, supports user needs, and aligns with strategic priorities.  Working closely with cross-functional stakeholders, technical teams, and business partners, the role drives product vision, adoption, continuous improvement, and effective delivery while ensuring alignment with strategic goals, compliance requirements, and operational needs.

What will you do in this role

·       Own product strategy and roadmap of large-scale Regulatory technical products.

·       Lead global technology initiatives within Regulatory and Regulatory Information Management (RIM).

·       Act as the key interface between the business stakeholders, business system owners, delivery teams and users, facilitating direct communication and stakeholder engagement.

·       Define, prioritize, and manage the product backlog based on user needs, business value, and long-term sustainability.

·       Drive continuous product discovery to understand user needs and translate them into solutions.

·       Make product decisions aligned with strategy, value delivery, and user experience.

·       Manage product metrics and performance, identifying opportunities for improvement and measuring outcomes.

·       Oversee ownership of supporting technologies and tools.

·       Develop and maintain documentation such as technical designs, user guides, process flows, and related support materials.

·       Drive continuous improvement across financial systems, processes, and reporting capabilities.

·       Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and data governance requirements.

·       Mentor and lead large scale global cross functional teams, fostering collaboration and high performance.

What Should you have

·       Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Finance or Business

·       Masters’ degree preferred.

·       More than 18 years of experience directly with leading and driving Regulatory implementations and technology enabled solutions that supports Global Regulatory Affairs; including the following technologies but not limited to Veeva Vault RIM, Lorenz Docubridge, etc.

 

Primary skills (must-have)

·       Proven experience in product management and in leading large-scale initiatives within Regulatory and Regulatory Information Management (RIM).

  • Extensive experience with the specific pharmaceutical Regulatory domain.
  • Direct line management experience for global teams (50+ team members).

·       Ability to present effectively to global leadership teams across Research and Development for the purposes of driving results for technology solutions.

·       Experience defining product KPIs, business cases, and benefit/ROI measures.

·       Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business needs into sustainable solutions.

·       Experience in system design and technical solutioning, with the ability to align solutions to business requirements.

·       Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain accountability for outcomes.

·       Strong track record of managing stakeholder relationships, including executive and cross-functional stakeholders in a matrix environment.

·       Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect technical and non-technical audiences.

·       Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

·       High levels of ownership, teamwork, and organizational discipline.

·       Understanding of benefits management and outcome measurement.

·       Experience working in Agile environments.

·       Familiarity with Jira and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Mural, and MS Teams.

·       Exposure to management system development and related operational processes.

Secondary skills (nice to have)

  • Experience in asset management or related data/process governance activities.
  • Exposure to financial systems, reporting, or planning applications.
  • Aptitude and interest in learning new technologies quickly.
  • Experience working in a global environment across multiple regions or time zones.

The salary range for this role is

$173,200.00 - $272,600.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
