Job Description:

In this role, the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM ) Product Line Lead will drive the strategic implementation and ongoing evolution of its enterprise CLM platform, with a focus on DocuSign CLM. This individual will play a critical role in a multi-year, complex global transformation program, serving as the primary business-facing product lead across internal stakeholders, the selected systems implementation partner, and the software provider.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining the product line's priorities and vision, translating business needs across 10+ functional areas and 40+ markets into actionable requirements, and driving successful delivery of CLM capabilities across the organization. In parallel, this role will oversee business-as-usual support for the CLM program, help establish enterprise governance, and identify opportunities to enhance contract processes, user experience, reporting, and automation over time.

This role requires a strong blend of product ownership, enterprise systems implementation, executive-level stakeholder engagement, and operational leadership, ideally within a global and highly regulated environment

Responsibilities:

Vision & Strategy
  • Create and communicate a robust a vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap to evolve the CLM product line that is aligned to business priorities and enterprise technology standards.
  • Provide leadership across 3+ products in the CLM product line across its full lifecycle, planning through delivery, adoption, optimization, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across GSF and IT delivery teams to contribute to overall company priorities.
  • Establish and track product KPIs and success metrics to ensure measurable business value, user experience, and operational efficiency.


Business Technology Partnership
  • Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders (Legal, Technology Procurement, Compliance, etc.) and IT delivery teams.
  • Oversee team of analysts translating business objectives into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritized backlogs.
  • Facilitate trade-off discussions across scope, cost, risk, and timing to drive informed decisions and outcomes.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to standardize, streamline, and automate contracting processes across the enterprise.


Program & Delivery Leadership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to executive business and IT leaders, influencing decisions and guiding outcomes across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Build, grow, and support a team of Product Managers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback
  • Lead and drive CLM implementations, releases, and enhancements using strong PMO, and delivery, and risk management practices
  • Ensure delivery governance, documentation, and adherence to enterprise SDLC, security, and compliance standards.
  • Coordinate change management and stakeholder communications to support successful deployments and adoption.


Technical & Solution Leadership
  • Act as a subject-matter expert in contract lifecycle and related business processes, deeply understanding stakeholder needs, pain points, and value drivers.
  • Provide hands-on product leadership and team building for CLM Product Team supporting configuration, workflows, templates, clauses, metadata, and integrations.
  • Partner with architecture, integration, security, and data teams to ensure scalable and compliant solutions.
  • Ensure technical decisions support long-term platform sustainability, performance, and extensibility.


Education Minimum Requirement
• Bachelor's degree

Required Experience and Skills
• 10+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or solution leadership roles, preferably in enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Enterprise leadership skills, including business savviness, strategic planning, execution excellence, change catalyst, Emotional Intelligence, networking and partnerships.
• Trusted advisor to business leaders with a track record focusing on data-driven, user-focused outcomes.
• Strong PMO and delivery leadership skills, including managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.
• Demonstrated experience owning and delivering enterprise-scale solutions (CLM solutions strongly preferred).
• Proven ability to set product vision, define roadmaps, and deliver measurable business value.
• Experience leading and mentoring technical analysts or delivery teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and executive presence to support delivery excellence to business partners.
• Experience partnering with Legal, Procurement, Compliance, or similar organizations.

Build, grow, and support a team of Product Managers through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback
• Experience in organizational change management (transformation) and continuous improvement.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time for business purposes.

Preferred Experience and Skills
• Master's degree in science or technology discipline
• 15+ years of experience in product management, product ownership, or solution leadership roles, preferably in enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Proven ability scale solutions beyond initial implementations to enterprise adoption.
• Product management certifications or Agile/Scrum credentials.
• Deep understanding of CLM platforms, including configuration, workflows, clause libraries, approvals, reporting, and integrations.
• One or more of the following certifications:
• DocuSign CLM Administrator
• DocuSign CLM Workflow Developer
• DocuSign CLM Implementation Consultant
• DocuSign CLM Technical Consultant

The salary range for this role is
$173,200.00 - $272,600.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, government requirements, and business or organizational needs.

The successful candidate will be eligible for annual bonus and long-term incentive, if applicable.
