Job Description

The Director, Content Creation defines the enterprise direction for modern content creation capabilities that enable compliant, scalable, and differentiated content development across brands, markets, and channels. This role sets the strategic agenda for content creation and storage capabilities, shaping the vision, governance, and investment priorities required to strengthen content performance, reuse, and enterprise agility.

The role is accountable for advancing design system strategy, setting standards for compliant content creation, and positioning the Adobe creative ecosystem as a core enterprise capability. This leader also defines the strategy for generative AI-enabled content generation, establishing the guardrails, operating principles, and adoption approach needed to unlock value responsibly in a highly regulated environment. In parallel, the role provides executive sponsorship for the transition from Veeva DAM to Adobe DAM to establish a more scalable and future-ready content foundation.

Required Experience & Qualifications:

  • 8+years leadership experience defining enterprise strategy and driving transformation in complex, global, matrixed organizations.


  • Demonstrated success leading content creation, digital asset management, creative ecosystem, or content supply chain capabilities at scale, with accountability for strategic direction, roadmap, adoption, and measurable business value.
  • Strong experience establishing enterprise standards, governance, and operating principles that enable compliant, high-quality, and scalable content creation in regulated environments.
  • Demonstrated expertise shaping Adobe creative and DAM ecosystem strategy, including platform modernization, enterprise scaling, and long-term capability development.
  • Experience defining and advancing generative AI content generation strategies, including prioritization of high-value use cases, responsible AI guardrails, governance models, and enterprise adoption approaches.
  • Experience sponsoring or leading enterprise platform transitions, including migration from legacy DAM or content environments to future-state enterprise solutions.
  • Strong track record of influencing senior stakeholders and building high-performing teams that sustain transformation, innovation, and organizational capability growth.
  • This role will report into Executive Director, Content Enablement & Execution and will lead up to 10 members of the product team.

• Strategic innovation leadership, including the ability to shape and scale generative AI-enabled content generation approaches with appropriate governance and accountability.

Education Minimum Requirement:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, communications, design, technology, life sciences, or a related field required.

Advanced degree preferred.

Key Accountabilities:

1. Enterprise Strategy and Capability Leadership
• Set the enterprise vision and strategic agenda for content creation and storage capabilities, aligned to business priorities, customer needs, and long-term transformation goals.
•Provide leadership across content creation and storage product domains, ensuring priorities, investments, and governance are focused on enterprise value and sustainable scale.
•Establish decision frameworks and strategic guardrails that strengthen consistency, compliance, and scalability across enterprise content capabilities.

2. Compliant Content Creation and Design System Strategy
•Define the enterprise approach to compliant content creation, including standards, principles, and reusable frameworks that support quality, consistency, and speed.
•Advance design system strategy as an enterprise capability that improves content consistency, reuse, and speed to value across internal content development.
•Shape enterprise standards that align creative flexibility with legal, regulatory, medical, brand, and accessibility expectations.

3. Adobe Creative Ecosystem and Platform Strategy

Set the strategic direction for the Adobe creative ecosystem as a foundational enterprise capability supporting content creation, reuse, and scale.
•Guide roadmap and investment priorities that strengthen platform value, enterprise adoption, and alignment with business and compliance objectives.
•Sponsor strategic partnerships across technology and external partners to ensure the ecosystem remains scalable, future-ready, and fit for enterprise needs.

4. Generative AI Content Generation Strategy
•Define the enterprise strategy for generative AI-enabled content generation, including where and how AI should create value across content development, reuse, and scale.
•Establish governance, risk, and quality principles that enable responsible adoption of GenAI capabilities in a regulated environment.
•Prioritize strategic use cases and adoption pathways that improve content efficiency, consistency, and business impact while protecting trust and compliance.

5. Content Asset Strategy and DAM Transformation
•Set the enterprise direction for digital asset management capabilities, ensuring content assets are governed to maximize findability, reuse, control, and long-term value.
•Provide executive leadership for the migration from Veeva DAM to Adobe DAM, ensuring the transformation delivers a scalable and future-ready content foundation.
•Ensure DAM strategy supports compliant usage, traceability, access control, and alignment with future-state enterprise content goals.

6. Enterprise Influence and Organizational Leadership
•Act as a strategic partner to senior leaders across business, technology, operations, legal, regulatory, medical, and external partners to shape enterprise priorities and decisions.
•Influence enterprise choices through clear articulation of strategy, trade-offs, risks, and value creation opportunities.
•Build an inclusive, high-performing organization with the leadership depth and capability required to sustain transformation and innovation.
