Position SummaryThe Director Sys Parking and Transportation is responsible for the comprehensive management and oversight of all MultiCare Health System (MHS) parking and transportation operations across multiple hospital locations throughout the health system. This role provides strategic leadership and direct collaboration with the Parking Management Company (PMC) to ensure efficient delivery of services, including parking operations, Transportation Demand Management (TDM) programs, enforcement, shuttle services, and other related initiatives. The Sys Director will drive operational excellence, compliance, and innovative solutions to support patient, visitor, and employee transportation needs.
Responsibilities:- Responsible for key vendor partnerships in areas such as parking, valet services, and fleet management. This includes contract negotiation, monitoring of performance indicators, quarterly business reviews, annual operating and capital budgeting support, and helping connect MultiCare leaders with vendor partners/service providers.
- Responsible for working with project teams on all projects that include parking needs to include construction of new decks and surface lots.
- Key aspects of the program are Transportation Demand Management and Commute Trip Reduction. This role will ensure processes are in place and functioning that meet monitoring and reporting requirements to local, state, and federal agencies, as it relates to commute trip reduction initiatives.
- The nature of work may require travel and some non-standard work times to support CBU in evaluation of their local needs.
Requirements: - Bachelor's Degree in Administration, Urban or Transportation Planning, or related field
- Relevant experience may substitute for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis
- Four years of transit and/or parking experience, including one year of lead or supervisory experience
- Parking, Transportation, & Mobility Professional certification from the International Parking and Mobility Institute (IPMI), or able to obtain within one year of hire.
Pay and Benefit ExpectationsWe provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $116,272.00 - $167,336.00 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant's years of experience align.
