The Dir Market Development is responsible for leading, managing and executing growth strategies. This role oversees a team of market development specialists and works closely with hospital leadership to drive referral growth, physician alignment, and revenue. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with leadership experience in health care market development, a deep understanding of hospital operations and a proven ability to drive surgical volume.

  • Develop, implement, and oversee targeted physician outreach programs, networking events, and educational initiatives to foster engagement and collaboration.
  • Utilize CRM and analytics tools to monitor referral trends, identify growth opportunities, and adjust strategies to optimize physician alignment.
  • Partner with hospital leadership to recruit, onboard, and integrate new surgeons, ensuring alignment with strategic growth objectives.
  • Revenue Growth and Financial Performance
  • Collaborate with finance and operations teams to optimize revenue streams, enhance case mix, and develop effective payer strategies that maximize financial performance.
  • Design and implement data-driven business models and growth forecasts to evaluate the financial viability of new service lines and market expansion initiatives.
  • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), revenue trends, and referral performance using analytics tools, providing actionable insights and regular reports to the executive team.
  • Compliance and Operational Excellence
  • Ensure full compliance with Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statutes, HIPAA, and other health care regulations in all business development and provider engagement activities.
  • Collaborate with clinical teams and administrative leaders to optimize referral workflows, streamline processes, and enhance the experience for referring providers.
  • Uphold high standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct within the provider relations team, fostering a culture of accountability and regulatory adherence.
  • Reports to the Leader as assigned.
