CNO Financial Group’s Corporate Accounting and Finance Team is hiring a Director FP&A Business Partner to provide centralized oversight to enterprise budgeting, planning, and analysis.
This is your opportunity to regularly interact with senior and executive leaders across the organization, supporting leaders with insight into budgeting and forecasting through effective and accurate financial reporting and analysis.
As a Director FP&A Business Partner, your responsibilities will include:
Leading a team of managers and analysts to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting of expenses and fee income at the functional level.
Collaborating with leaders across the entire organization to develop the annual financial plans and quarterly forecasts, as well as prepare appropriate reporting and analysis of performance against budget and forecast.
Developing trusting relationships with leaders throughout the organization to advise on optimal expense structure, fee income, as well as support capital initiatives as needed.
Professionally work with highly sensitive, confidential information for purposes of analysis and support of senior leaders.
Identifying data trends and variances, making recommendations for root cause and corrective actions.
Strategically help leaders solve problems and develop reasonable plans that balance functional needs with enterprise financial/profitability goals and expectations.
The Director FP&A Business Partner position is well suited for you if you:
Possess outstanding knowledge of financial planning and analysis principles and practices.
Work well in a fast-paced environment with exceptional time management skills, including focused strategies for on-time and high-quality delivery.
Have an energetic approach to role with a sense of urgency and committed to continuous improvement.
Are an effective leader with the ability to organize staff for maximum efficiency, engagement, and development.
Possess excellent quantitative, analytical and financial skills, with strong attention to detail.
Hold strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to draft clear and effective management presentations.
Are customer service focused that collaborates effectively across the organization and work well with all levels of the organization.
What you’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field.
Five years of experience in people leadership.
Ten years of relevant FP&A experience.

Associates who live outside of a 60-mile radius of a corporate office (Carmel, Chicago, and Orlando) may perform this role full-time work from home (WFH) from any US based location, as long as you are willing to work central or eastern time zone hours.
All associates may be asked to travel to varying corporate offices periodically. Work cannot be performed from outside of the United States.
