Overview
As Director, FP&A, you will be the dedicated finance leader for an assigned CSC business unit, embedded as a peer on the business unit leadership team alongside commercial and operations leaders. Your job is to translate operating drivers into financial outcomes - owning the BU forecast, P&L, capital-allocation discipline, and EBITDA-to-free-cash-flow bridge - and bring clear, defensible financial insight to every strategic and operational decision made by the GM and senior leadership.
- Own the BU forecast, monthly variance analysis, and P&L - with costs and contribution margin correctly attributed at the BU, branch, account, and asset level
- Serve as the GM's day-to-day financial partner - translate price x machines in service x vends per machine into EBITDA, free cash flow, and ROIC
- Test the coherence of the BU plan end to end: commercial pipeline vs. route and install capacity, growth vs. ROIC-gated capital, and price realization across commercial and field execution
- Own the EBITDA-to-free-cash-flow bridge and pressure-test where conversion is leaking
- Drive capital-allocation discipline - evaluate every request on a per-asset return basis in partnership with the CFO and GM
- Model vends per machine as a primary operating driver, separating price from volume to surface where pricing is masking volume erosion
- Partner with commercial and revenue management leaders on pricing strategy and VPI discipline - moving from broad, formulaic increases toward dynamic, data-driven pricing by segment, market, and asset type
- Lead financial modeling for unit economics, new-account acquisition, net unit growth, and renewal economics including concentration risk and renewal capital requirements
- Own the coin-to-digital cost-to-serve story - collections forecasting, fleet connectivity, and truck-roll reduction - and translate operational improvements into FCF terms
- Build BU KPI dashboards and present results, forecasts, and gap plans to company leadership and the ELT

- Experience building and defending segment or BU P&Ls and improving forecast accuracy
- Capital-allocation and ROIC analysis experience at a per-unit or per-asset level

- Comfort with AI-assisted analysis tools and large dataset analysis
- Field-services, route-based, or asset-intensive industry experience strongly preferred
- The credibility and interpersonal skill to challenge senior operating leaders and influence outcomes without direct authority
- Operationally minded and curious - someone who digs past the surface-level explanation to understand what is actually driving the numbers
