Pay Range: $69.41 - $103.42 per hour

Summary:
The director is accountable for: The strategy, leadership, direction, and delivery of ongoing operations of the associated teams' initiatives to deliver and support approved applications, projects and enhancements efficiently managing resources to fulfill Rush objectives while optimizing schedule and budget. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
This role also manages the specified applications availability to business by supporting issue resolution and minor enhancements. The role interacts with senior management, associated departments and teams, business critical external service providers, key technology manufacturers and resellers. This role also manages operations in an outsourced environment by operationally working with key representatives from vendors and suppliers.
Required Job Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree
• 10 years of related IT Experience
• 2 Years of people management experience required
• Experience leading large ERP, business application implementations and ERP optimization projects.
• Experience leading complex operational unit of interdependent software applications, and other related areas.
• Experience managing a diverse team of functional business and technical team-leads experienced in ERP and business applications.
• Experience in managing end to end IT operations
• Experience of work with Managed Service Providers
• Demonstrated experience in leading large teams
• Experience in handling legal and regulatory compliance across all systems
• Proven track record in managing and overseeing complex and, diverse firm-wide information technology environments and operations
• Experience in driving innovative solutions in line with emerging market trends to drive efficiencies and supporting business growth
• Strong communication skills. Experience delivering targeted messages to the appropriate audience: verbally, visually, and in writing.
• Strong interpersonal relationship skills for managing disputes and driving change in vendor behaviors, and creating a working environment where vendors receive incentives to change behaviors to meet performance goals.
Responsibilities:
• Responsible for ensuring the Team runs seamless manner proving value and support to the business.
• Ensure the Team's operational support services are maintained to a professional level, monitored via service level agreements and regular customer feedback.
• Drives an ITIL based organization by developing processes, instilling ITIL standards and driving efficiency
• Manages Application support, staffing, including recruitment, supervision, scheduling, development, evaluation, and disciplinary actions.
• Managing cloud-based IT services through providers and contracts ensuring seamless IT services in a modern and cost-effective model
• Manages the technical managers and team leads. Drives strategy for their area and participates in development of the broader IS strategy. Responsible for area organizational design and effectiveness.
• Manage vendor executives. Successfully implements new technologies. Keeps up with both healthcare and technology practices and trends including the responsibility areas of ERP and Business focused applications and related software development.
• Actively assists in planning for strategic initiatives. Proactively monitors and resolves strategic projects risks and issues. Reviews large project Business Cases and Statements of Work. Ensures delivery and integration of project portfolio to enhance business value.
• implements desired business processes within sphere of influence. Works with peers to coordinate management efforts. Presents effectively at the executive level. Maintain the ability to provide complex multi-dimensional solutions to complex business problems. Ability to influence and communicate with all levels of the organization. Ability to negotiate contracts. Knows how to get things done through formal and informal channels. Can easily work across organizational boundaries.
• Technical Strategic Planning - Coordinate's development of technical standards and processes between DIS areas. Demonstrated ability to translate organizational structures to technical architectures. Ability to team complex technologies and translate into Business Solutions.
• Performs activities needed to maintain the efficient and continued operations of all functions with the assigned area; extended hours and on call duties as required. Facilitate and coordinate IS-wide incidents with the organization as require as part of Incident Management.
