The Role at a glance:

We are looking to add a skilled, experienced Director of Catering to our Constellation Culinary Group team in San Francisco. As a Director of Catering, you will have the opportunity to provide leadership to and direct the development of an assigned business unit. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work independently to sell and produce events for a variety of market segments in a Top SF Cultural Center. This role will sell both internal and external events.

What you'll be doing:

  • Maintaining positive relationships with established event locations, and identifying potential new locations.
  • Responding to and acting on client questions and needs, including menu selections, logistics, and equipment acquisition.
  • Developing new client relationships and building on outreach opportunities.
  • Following up with clients after events to receive feedback.


What we're looking for:

Must-haves:
  • At least four years' experience in event planning, sales, or event management.
  • At least one years' experience in hospitality or catering.
  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.

Nice-to-haves:
  • College education in a relevant field


Compensation Range

Base: $95,000

Plus Commission
