We have an exciting opportunity with our Digital Technology (DT) team for a Digital Technology (DT) Site Lead.

The position will be based onsite at our facilitiesin North Berwick, Maine.

What You Will Do:

Seeking a highly motivated DT manager with strong management and technical skills to provide overall support for the P&W Facility in southern Maine, comprised of Manufacturing, Assembly, Aftermarket Repair, and Engineering.

The selected candidate will be responsible for business & technical systems management and project execution for enterprise solutions, IIOT integration, as well as sustainment of other localized solutions on the factory floor.

The selected individual will work with core digital technologies disciplines, out-sourced service providers and customers to ensure that the overall digital technology needs, and objectives of the business are met.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the Digital Technology team at the North Berwick, Maine site to ensure that operations are supported through applications, infrastructure, and DT processes.

- Provide updates to DT leadership on key aspects of local business DT components.

- Manage and develop DT professionals to foster career development.

- Improve and develop innovative site capabilities and software with Connected Factory and Industry 4.0 principals in conjunction with the strategic roadmap for all sites.

- Work with key business leaders to understand specific DT requirements.

- Translate customer requirements into a solution design primarily across multiple manufacturing applications and enterprise applications.

- Understand key applications usage for the business and serve as liaison to subject matter experts.

- Work with other P&W DT disciplines to ensure coordinated project delivery to meet business priorities.

- Document local DT processes & procedures and ensure audit compliance.

- Address facility expansion & business transformation requirements.

- Perform budget & investment planning for Information Technology needs.

- Streamline business workflow processes and develop effective technology.

- Management of components of DT software life cycle development processes.

- Provide support for the onsite Infrastructure ecosystem, including LAN/WAN networking, data storage, servers, and data center operations. (UPS, PDU, fire suppression, climate control).

Qualifications You Must Have:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related degree with 10+ years of experience working in Digital Technology; OR an advanced degree in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering, or related degree with 8+ years of experience working in Digital Technology.

- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract.

- Must be able to work onsite at the designated location in North Berwick, Maine.

- Technical expertise with industrial networking, secure machine tool integration, VLAN segmentation, and OT/IT architecture design within manufacturing environments.

- Demonstrated experience in architecting and deploying SCADA/HMI platforms (WinCC, iFix, AVEVA, Ignition) including system design, security configuration, software development, and data integration.

- Strong software engineering background with demonstrated experience in designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and deploying production grade applications in .NET, LabVIEW, C/C++, Jython, and Python within regulated manufacturing environments.

- Technical experience supporting digital systems in complex development manufacturing or aerospace environments with high compliance and operational reliability requirements.

- Proven ability to design and govern end-to-end manufacturing system architectures, including data acquisition, inspection systems, SPC, visualization platforms, and enterprise integration layers.

- Excellent customer service skills required providing a high level of service to satisfy/fulfill internal or external needs accurately in a timely manner.

- Must be able to work independently with limited direction to accomplish goals and recognize areas for process improvement & formulate actionable plans.

- Ability to interpret high level business requirements, and liaise between business customers, technology teams and support teams.

- Strong analytical, organizational, problem solving, project management, concise writing, communications, and presentation skills highly desired.

- Demonstrated leadership skills; indirect & direct supervisory experience.

- Experience in customer-facing role serving as Customer Relationship Manager.

- System architecture and design related to manufacturing solutions / dashboard visualization.

- Experience with basic infrastructure support, including network hardware and data center component maintenance.

- Ability to interpret high level business requirements, and liaise between business customers, technology teams and support teams.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
