Job Description:

Job Summary:
Supports the planning, coordination, and execution of digital product programs across the Cat® Foresight and Cat® Inspect portfolio. Partners closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure program plans are effectively executed, risks are identified and managed, and deliverables are completed on time and within scope. Contributes to program governance, execution discipline, and visibility while supporting successful delivery of strategic initiatives.

What You Will Do:
  • Builds and maintains program schedules, ensuring alignment across product, engineering, and dependent teams
  • Coordinates day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams to drive delivery of portfolio priorities
  • Identifies, tracks, and escalates risks, dependencies, and blockers to ensure timely resolution
  • Develops and maintains mitigation plans for program risks and supports execution of contingency actions
  • Monitors program performance against milestones, deliverables, and timelines; highlights deviations and supports corrective actions
  • Ensures adherence to Cat Digital operating model processes, standards, and quality expectations
  • Partners with product managers and engineering teams to align deliverables, priorities, and sequencing
  • Prepares and communicates structured program updates, including status, risks, dependencies, and key decisions
  • Coordinates governance routines including program reviews, stakeholder checkpoints, and delivery milestones
  • Drives alignment across interconnected initiatives, ensuring cross-team dependencies are understood and managed
  • Supports backlog and roadmap alignment in partnership with product teams
  • Contributes to continuous improvement of program management practices, tools, and operating rhythm
  • Provides visibility into execution performance to support informed decision-making across stakeholders


What You Will Have:
  • Planning: Tactical, Strategic: Extensive knowledge of effective planning techniques and ability to contribute to operational (short term), tactical (1-2 years) and strategic (3-5 years) planning in support of the overall business plan.
  • Project Administration: Extensive knowledge of project administration best practices and ability to use organizational strategies, practices and tools for administering projects.
  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
  • Data Gathering and Reporting: Extensive knowledge of tools, techniques and processes for gathering and reporting data; ability to practice them in a particular department or division of a company.
  • IT Project Management: Extensive knowledge of project management; ability to plan, organize, monitor and control IT projects using appropriate technical resources.


Considerations for Top Candidates:
  • Strong working knowledge of Aha! and Azure DevOps for roadmap alignment, backlog management, dependency tracking, and delivery visibility across product and engineering teams
  • Experience leveraging Microsoft Loop or similar collaboration tools to enable structured coordination, documentation, and cross-functional alignment
  • Experience managing or supporting delivery of digital product programs in agile or hybrid environments
  • Familiarity with cross-functional delivery models, including product, engineering, and stakeholder coordination
  • Experience working in environments with multiple dependencies, integration points, and competing priorities
  • Demonstrated ability to track execution, manage risk, and drive alignment across teams

This position will be located in either our Peoria, Irving, or Chicago office.

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
