Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Digital Production Manager to support our team responsible for building our showtimes websites for major studios and distributors, handling traffic from millions of moviegoers globally. This role involves managing four talented members of our LA team, including project managers and content producers. The ideal candidate will be a calm and supportive leader with strong project management expertise, a passion for delivering high-quality digital experiences, and the ability to work proactively while guiding the team on strategies to improve delivery and workflow.

What You'll Do:

People Management:
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and guidance to reports, comprising project managers and content producers.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and quarterly goal setting sessions with team members to ensure their professional growth and development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that promotes creativity, innovation, and excellence.

Project Management:
  • Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, from project initiation to delivery, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Create detailed project plans, allocate resources efficiently, and ensure that projects are completed within defined timelines using our project management software.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for stakeholders, providing regular project updates, managing expectations, and resolving any issues or concerns.
  • Identify potential challenges and proactively address them, ensuring that the end product is of the highest quality.
  • Collaborate with our technical team to ensure accurate and real-time showtime data integration on websites.
  • Implement best practices and methodologies to optimize project efficiency and quality, continually refining processes for continuous improvement.

Client Relationship Management:
  • Cultivate strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor and advocate for their needs and objectives.
  • Collaborate with clients to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure alignment with their strategic goals and brand guidelines.
  • Effectively communicate project progress, milestones, and deliverables to clients, soliciting feedback and addressing any concerns in a timely manner.
  • Identify opportunities for upselling or expanding services to existing clients, working closely with the sales team.

Quality Assurance:
  • Uphold high standards of quality and accuracy in all deliverables, ensuring that movie websites meet client expectations and industry best practices.
  • Conduct thorough quality assurance testing, reviewing content, functionality, and user experience to identify and address any issues or defects.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to establish testing protocols and procedures, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and effective bug resolution.

Requirements
  • Experience: 5+ years of digital project management experience, ideally within the cinema, entertainment, or e-commerce sectors. Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
  • Leadership & Team Development: Proven track record mentoring and developing project teams with a supportive, solutions-focused approach.
  • Process-Driven Strategy: A passion for optimizing complex project workflows, measuring efficiency, and implementing scalable operational improvements.
  • Adaptable Problem-Solving: A calm, proactive mindset when navigating fast-moving project challenges and spotting delivery risks early.
  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills Ability: to listen well and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with a variety of audiences. Ability to create and maintain positive, collaborative working relationships and contribute to a team-oriented environment.
  • Organization & Self-Management: Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a highly organized manner.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Google Suite. Experience with Asana preferred.
