JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Opportunity

This position works out of our Livermore, CA office as part of the Abbott Heart Failure, Acelis Connected Health business. Our Heart Failure solutions are helping address some of the World's greatest healthcare challenges.

As the Digital Product Owner, you'll have the chance to collaborate with multiple stakeholders including senior management, the software development team, and the support team to drive growth and expansion in the connected health market. Working closely with development, quality assurance, and technical support as well as internal and external stakeholders, the Digital Product Owner will identify, define and prioritize initiatives to successfully launch new features to market while continually enhancing existing industry leading patient and clinician facing applications.

What You'll Work On

• Drive and communicate the digital technology product roadmap from conceptualization through feature launch creating actionable plans across multiple product platforms.
• Collaborate with divisional stakeholders including senior management, as well as prospective users to understand and anticipate their needs and translate them into product feature requirements.
• Work closely with the distributed Digital Product Business Analyst team to oversee the creation, development and execution of requirement process from formulation through execution.
• Manage multiple product backlogs and continually prioritize features based on changing business needs and market requirements.
• Provide regular updates to leadership, escalating items when needed, but with knowledge to identify and resolve most issues independently.
• Nurture ideas and solutions to existing customer problems.
• Influence all stages of product creation including design and development.
• Perform robust product analytics by monitoring and evaluating product progress at each stage of the Software Development Lifecycle.
• Represent and lead technical product function in project/program core team meetings; liaise with the commercial, operations, end-users, Digital Product Support and Senior Management to deliver updates.
• Partner with internal and external product development teams to ensure successful delivery of digital products against requirements and business expectations.

Required Qualifications
• Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Marketing, Business or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years of experience working in Healthcare or related field.
• Successful track record of developing products within deadlines.
• Keen strategic vision and ability to influence without direct authority.
• Ability to prioritize effectively with excellent attention to detail.
• Familiar with various leading Software Development Methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Scrum Agile processes and principles.
• Working knowledge of product development architecture and user-centered design principles.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills across varying seniority levels.
• Ability to work with large, distributed and diverse teams.
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Creative and innovative thinker.
• Proficiency in the use of analytic and reporting tools.
