As a Digital Product Senior Associate within Capital Group's Private Client Services (PCS) Business Operations team, you will help shape the future of the digital tools and experiences that support our wealth management business. PCS serves high-net-worth individuals, trusts, foundations, and endowments through a highly personalized advisory model. In this role, you will partner closely with business stakeholders, engineers, architects, and product peers to deliver innovative technology solutions that improve operational efficiency, enhance user experiences, and create business value.
You will be responsible for identifying user needs, translating business objectives into actionable product requirements, and supporting the development and execution of product strategies and roadmaps. Working across multiple enterprise platforms, including internal workflows, Salesforce solutions, and advisor-facing technologies, you will help drive delivery of meaningful product enhancements that enable our associates and clients to succeed.

Product Strategy & Vision
- Partner with stakeholders to understand user needs, pain points, and business objectives.
- Gather customer feedback, business metrics, and market insights to inform product direction and prioritization.
- Support the development and execution of product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
- Identify opportunities to improve user experiences and drive increased adoption of digital capabilities.
- Challenge traditional approaches and advocate for innovative, user-centered solutions.
Product Planning & Development
- Lead requirements gathering efforts for new features, enhancements, and product releases.
- Translate business requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, and functional specifications.
- Partner closely with engineering teams to evaluate technical solutions and deliver business value.
- Participate in Agile product development activities, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization discussions.
- Balance enhancement requests, technical debt, and defect remediation to maximize product impact.
- Utilize Capital Group-approved AI and technology tools to improve product delivery efficiency and effectiveness.
Product Delivery & Launch
- Ensure delivered solutions align with business objectives, user requirements, and product goals.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and validate successful feature implementation.
- Collaborate with engineering and business teams during product launches and releases.
- Support creation and maintenance of job aids, training materials, and adoption resources.
- Evaluate launch outcomes and incorporate learnings into future product planning.
Product Operations & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor product performance, adoption metrics, and user feedback to identify improvement opportunities.
- Analyze data and trends to support product decisions and ongoing optimization efforts.
- Investigate, prioritize, and resolve product issues in partnership with engineering teams.
- Communicate risks, dependencies, and obstacles to leadership and key stakeholders.
- Help foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Partnership & Influence
- Build strong partnerships with business leaders, operations teams, engineers, architects, and fellow product managers.
- Serve as the voice of the user throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Facilitate discussions, align diverse stakeholder needs, and drive consensus on product priorities.
- Communicate complex business and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Qualifications
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of product management business analysis, product ownership, or related experience.
- Experience managing software products, digital platforms, or enterprise technology solutions.
- Demonstrated experience writing user stories, requirements, acceptance criteria, and test scenarios.
- Experience working closely with software engineering teams in Agile environments.
- Strong understanding of product development, lifecycles, and product management best practices.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and take ownership of outcomes.
Preferred
- Experience within technology, fintech, digital products, wealth management, asset management, or financial services.
- Familiarity with Salesforce platforms, workflow solutions, client portals, or related enterprise applications.
- Working knowledge of SQL, data analysis, and data-driven decision-making.
- Understanding of software architecture concepts and technical solution design.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $111,920-$179,072
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
