Overview

The successful Digital PCR Specialist at Bio-Rad will promote and sell Bio-Rad’s Digital Biology portfolio within the New England region to help drive revenue growth in all for-profit and non-profit accounts in the region. Your primary focus is to sell the entire Droplet Digital PCR portfolio to achieve revenue targets. 

In this role, you will work cross-functionally with Account Executives and Field Application Scientists, along with Field Marketing team members to explore and expand the full potential of all droplet digital PCR offerings within the accounts in the region. You will provide customers with well-rounded support and a complete picture of Bio-Rad solutions. 

Utilize cross-functional departments such as Global Marketing, Field Marketing, Technical Support, Customer Care and other Bio-Rad team members to ensure complete customer satisfaction. 

Communicate with the Regional Manager – Digital PCR on your droplet digital PCR opportunity funnels, sales activities, market trends on a routine basis. You will be responsible for managing revenue forecasts. 

Demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills within Bio-Rad and externally with customers.

How You’ll Make An Impact: 

  • Meet and exceed regional revenue and growth targets. 
  • Promote and Sell Bio-Rad Droplet Digital PCR instruments. 
  • Build, manage, and grow the digital PCR opportunity funnel and build strategy to help execute strong digital PCR funnels for the region. 
  • Partner with sales peers: Account Executives, Account Managers, and Field Application Scientists to meet territory goals in Droplet Digital PCR. 
  • Proactively manage SFDC on a daily basis and communicate with your Regional Manager on activities, market trends, and opportunities. 
  • Partner with Marketing and other cross-functional teams to deliver market insights, competitive intelligence, and accelerate the adoption of the Droplet Digital PCR portfolio. 

What You Bring: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Life Sciences or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Work Experience: Minimum of 12+ years of sales experience within the Life Sciences market and/or combined years of experience with advanced degree. 
  • Highly Motivated with a demonstrated record of success. 
  • Proven sales experience in selling in the Genomics space. Digital PCR experience is a plus.
  • Can work closely with team members within a matrixed organizational structure. 
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills. 
  • Ability to travel as needed (up to 50%) to support regional growth and customer adoption of Droplet Digital PCR. 

Location: This position covers the New England region. The individual must live within a geography that allows them to visit customers on-site on a daily basis.

Compensation: The estimated base salary range for this position is $137,600 to $189,200 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is also eligible for quarterly commission based on assigned sales quotas.
