The Digital Merchandising Manager (Pro) is responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of the digital merchandising experience across Sherwin-Williams' Pro digital platforms, including S-W.com, the Pro+ App, and Punchout. This role drives product discovery, conversion, and revenue growth by developing customer-centric merchandising strategies, optimizing the digital shopping experience, and leveraging performance data to identify and act on growth opportunities. The Digital Merchandising Manager partners cross-functionally with teams across the organization to deliver best-in-class digital experiences that support business objectives and customer needs.

Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised. Position is not remote/hybrid and will report to our Cleveland Global Headquarters.

Responsibilities

Digital Merchandising Strategy & Execution
  • Develop and execute digital merchandising strategies that improve product discovery, conversion, and sales on digital properties including S-W.com, the Pro+ App and Punchout.
  • Ensure flawless execution of all merchandising updates tied to promotions, product launches, campaigns, and programs.
  • Serve as the digital merchandising stakeholder for strategic initiatives, ensuring customer and business needs are represented in planning and execution.
  • Continuously optimize the digital shopping experience through enhancements to navigation, taxonomy, personalization, product content, and customer journeys.
  • Serve as a capability lead for the digital site transformation initiative, providing input to enhance customer experience and drive business outcomes.

Measure & Performance
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define, measure, and optimize key merchandising performance indicators.
  • Deliver reoccurring business reports, translating performance data into actionable insights, recommendations, and opportunities for senior leadership.
  • Monitor, analyze, and leverage data and customer insights to influence merchandising strategy and business decisions.

People & Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of digital merchandising professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvements, and customer-centric decision making.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Product Management, Content, IT, Analytics, and Pro business teams to align merchandising initiatives with broader business goals.
  • Build strong cross-functional partnerships across the organization to drive alignment, prioritization, and successful delivery of key initiatives.


Qualifications

Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting
  • Be able to analyze a set of data and identify key points
  • Strong Microsoft Office suite experience (Word, Excel, Power Point)
  • 3+ years in the digital marketing, eCommerce, or digital product space


Preferred:
  • Strong understanding of digital analytics tools (GA4, Microstrategy & Tableau)
  • Willingness to learn new tools, best practices and challenge status quo
  • 5+ years in the digital marketing, eCommerce, or digital product space
  • Demonstrated leadership through influencing people, processes, and outcomes, while driving change and continuous improvement.
