Job Overview:

The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for overseeing a portfolio of 4-8 markets/accounts with a combined advertising budget exceeding $50 million annually, focused primarily on Google Ads and paid search initiatives.

This role is highly strategic and analytical. Approximately 50% of the role involves analyzing campaign performance, interpreting data, and transforming insights into actionable business recommendations. The remaining focus is on digital marketing strategy, agency management, stakeholder communication, and driving performance across assigned markets.

The ideal candidate comes from a fast-paced agency environment and has experience managing multiple accounts, large advertising budgets, and complex customer acquisition campaigns. Success in this role requires someone who can connect marketing performance data to business outcomes and confidently communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

What Will I Do?
Paid Media Strategy & Portfolio Management
  • Own paid search strategy across a portfolio of 4-8 markets/accounts.
  • Manage advertising investments ranging from approximately $80K-$500K per month per account.
  • Oversee campaigns primarily focused on Google Ads, while supporting broader paid media initiatives as needed.
  • Gather business objectives and growth goals from internal stakeholders and translate them into actionable paid media strategies.
  • Stay current on paid search trends, platform enhancements, and evolving digital marketing best practices.
Performance Analysis & Optimization
  • Analyze campaign, lead generation, and conversion performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and risks.
  • Evaluate customer acquisition performance throughout a longer B2C sales cycle and make recommendations to improve conversion outcomes.
  • Monitor KPI achievement, budget pacing, ROI, and channel effectiveness.
  • Utilize testing methodologies and performance insights to optimize marketing initiatives and improve results.
Reporting & Strategic Insights
  • Develop clear narratives around marketing performance and present strategic recommendations to leadership.
  • Create data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
Agency & Stakeholder Partnership
  • Partner closely with external agencies responsible for campaign execution, providing direction, strategic guidance, optimization recommendations, and performance oversight.
  • Collaborate with internal marketing teams, agencies, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment across campaigns.


Qualifications

Do I Have What it Takes?
    • 3+ years of digital marketing, paid search, SEM, PPC, or performance marketing experience.
    • Strong experience managing Google Ads campaigns and paid search performance.
    • Experience overseeing multiple accounts, markets, or business units simultaneously.
    • Proven ability to manage large advertising budgets and drive measurable performance improvements.
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and identify actionable insights.
    • Experience creating reports, dashboards, and visualizations using Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to present findings and strategic recommendations to business leaders.
    • Experience working within a B2C customer acquisition environment.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

    Preferred Qualifications
    • Agency experience managing multiple client accounts.
    • Experience supporting home services, consumer services, retail, or other lead-generation-focused businesses.
    • Familiarity with, Adobe Analytics, Domo, or similar reporting platforms.
    • Experience working with longer consumer sales cycles and attribution challenges.
    • Background managing agency relationships and external marketing partners.
    • Experience presenting marketing performance to executive stakeholders.
