Digital Manufacturing Systems Manager

What you will enjoy doing*

  • Your primary responsibility will involve leading the development and execution of a new facility's digital manufacturing roadmap, establishing the systems, infrastructure, and data architecture required to support world-class powder manufacturing operations
  • You will define and implement the facility's information technology (IT) and operational technology (OT) network architecture, including development of a secure, scalable shop-floor LAN that is appropriately segregated from the corporate network while enabling controlled data exchange between manufacturing and business systems
  • Serve as the technical lead for Oracle ERP implementation activities, ensuring manufacturing, inventory management, maintenance, quality, purchasing, and production processes are effectively integrated within the enterprise platform
  • Further, you will lead the selection, design, implementation, and commissioning of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES) to enable electronic batch records, production tracking, genealogy, process monitoring, quality management, and real-time manufacturing visibility
  • Lead the implementation and integration of a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) that supports asset management, preventive maintenance, spare parts management, work-order execution, and equipment reliability initiatives
  • Additionally you will lead implementation of the facility Building Management System (BMS), integrating HVAC systems, environmental controls, utility monitoring, clean room systems, compressed air systems, and other critical building infrastructure into the site's digital ecosystem
  • Develop and manage the integration strategy between ERP, MES, CMMS, BMS, SCADA, PLC, historian, laboratory, and reporting systems to ensure seamless data flow throughout the facility
  • You enjoy driving automation and digitization initiatives by integrating sensors, instrumentation, controls, and software platforms that enable real-time visibility into process performance, equipment health, production efficiency, and product quality
  • You can easily partner with engineering, operations, maintenance, quality, IT, and leadership teams to establish digital standards, cybersecurity requirements, data governance practices, and long-term technology strategies for the facility
  • You have proven track record delivering measurable business value through increased automation, improved data visibility, enhanced process control, reduced manual data handling, improved equipment reliability, and accelerated decision-making


What makes you great

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 5 years of experience implementing digital, automation, or data focused solutions in manufacturing
  • Hands on skills in Python, SQL, JavaScript, C#, or similar programming/scripting languages, with some exposure to modern data analysis or AI-supported tools
  • Experience working with PLCs, SCADA, MES, historians, or sensor systems
  • Ability to build dashboards using Power BI, Grafana, Ignition, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to convert raw data into actionable insights
  • Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous-improvement methodologies
