Position Summary

The Digital Technical Specialist is an individual contributor that supports Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) initiatives for the Burlington factory. DMO serves as a one-stop shop for operators to perform daily tasks across multiple modules, including areas such as Quality and Downtime reporting. This role is responsible for supporting the implementation, integration, maintenance, and continuous improvement of DMO modules while helping connect factory systems such as PLC programs, Wonderware, SAP, and Power BI to improve operational visibility, reporting, productivity, and decision-making. The position partners cross-functionally to enable successful deployment and long-term sustainability of digital tools in support of a technology-enabled, operator-centric manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities
• DMO Implementation & Cross-Functional Project Leadership
• Support the implementation of all Digital Manufacturing Operations (DMO) projects using strong project management routines and skills.
• Lead and collaborate with corporate product owners, corporate project managers, third-party OEMs, and Nestlé cross-functional teams including Engineering, Operations, Quality, TAG, Supply Chain, and IT to support successful implementation of DMO modules in the factory.
• Support integration of DMO with other factory systems such as PLC programs, Wonderware, SAP, and Power BI to enable reporting focused on factory efficiency, productivity, and identification of improvement opportunities.
• Technical Learning, System Understanding & Process Knowledge
• Be proactive and self-sufficient in learning DMO modules through training resources and collaboration with DMO subject matter experts to build deep functional understanding.
• Develop dashboards and reporting tools using SQL and Power BI.
• Troubleshooting & System Sustainability • Perform root cause analysis and resolve system issues.
• Ensure system continuity, upgrades, and risk mitigation.
• Training & Capability Building
• Develop SOPs and train users on DMO tools.
• Build super user capability across departments.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience
• Minimum 2 years of MES or digital manufacturing systems experience.
• Experience in manufacturing environments and cross-functional collaboration.
• Technical skills in SQL, Power BI, and PLC integration.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or related field (or equivalent experience).
